It said no a/c and I took a chance. It feels like you’re sleeping in an oven. Was tempted to book at another hotel. Room is clean and hotel is clean but you can’t enjoy sleeping

Excellently located with transport, bus and underground, links less than 5 minutes walk. Staff very helpful nothing too much for them to respond to. Room well presented but small. No air-conditioning in the room which as the weather was very hot meant the room was overly warm. Hotel provided a fan and we were able to open the windows and as we were on the 4th floor we could leave them open even when we were out both of which helped. This was the only aspect that detracted from our stay. Bar area very relaxing for an end of day drink.

Location is good. Close to the nearest tube station where you can get Piccadilly line, which is an easy access to tourist spots.
But the hotel itself has very dated facilities. Checked in on a hot summer’s day, and it felt like a sauna. They don’t have air conditioning. There was one small very basic fan in the room. I requested for another one but didn’t arrive. Our room location was very noisy. Gets quieter at night but as soon as the morning arrives it gets noisy. The window was open due to heat but even that was only single glazing.
I think for the amount we paid, we could have got a lot better facilities somewhere else. But I understand price changes according to demand.
