Every staff member (except for one bar person who perhaps was having a bad day) was fantastic. Really friendly, engaging and interested in the guests. They clearly wanted guests to enjoy their experience while in the hotel.
Our room was perfect, beautifully decorated and very relaxing after a day out. We couldn't have had a better time.
The only niggle was with working out the final bill at checkout. The itemisation was unclear and we had been charged for items we hadn't ordered (or told were comped). This was dealt with without issue at reception but shouldn't have been necessary.
I'd recommend, if you charge drinks/ food to your room, to ask for a full printout for each day. Otherwise you're just presented with a total and expected to guess if it's correct. My suggestion to management would be to improve this step to ease the checkout process.
I would highly recommend staying here!
