    I emailed in advance to make sure a late check in was fine and they replied to say that it was. I had previously requested a quiet room facing the courtyard, as I had seen recommended on other reviews, but I got no reply. We arrived at 23:00, as I told them, only to be told that we didn't have a reservation . I showed them my booking and the emails I had sent to their reception. Surely if they didn't have a record of my booking (which I pre-paid two months ago, non refundable), someone answering my email earlier would have said something? The man insisted we did not have a booking, and did nothing to help. Luckily, at the same time, another person was checking in. Between us, we managed to pressure the man into calling his manager. It transpired that the hotel had mistakenly booked two rooms under the other guest, one of which was supposed to be ours. The front desk worker didn't even apologise, and we were given a noisy room facing the street. The room itself was fine, but the lack of accountability on the hotel's part and the rudeness of the front desk worker ruined our stay. If that other guest hadn't been checking in at exactly the same time, we would have been left out on the streets of Gare du Nord at midnight with nowhere to stay, all because the hotel wouldn't admit their mistake.

    This hotel is perfect to get easily to/from the airport and the metro into the city. The staff are lovely and helpful. The room was very clean and nice. I would stay here again. There is a lovely area with restaurants and night life perhaps a 20 mins walk away but, at night, I would recommend using the metro

    Coming from Germany and going back, as a person who loves walking - it’s a good catch The lady at the counter is very pleasant Points: - Room is good, clean (but under the bead was dusty), bright - had a table to work at (but no chair) - had French balcony (but chairs were rusty and not safe to seat) - bathroom was squeaky clean - apartment cleaned daily - had elevator - had cafeteria on the first floor to relax - had a ventilator (saved us from the heat) - the subway is close - routes are easy to built from - the building is close to the train station Minuses: at night neighbourhoods is a little bit scary to be around, but nothing happened

    Stayed here during June 2026 heatwave. Couldn't open window due to noise from street below. Cars hooting at each other, men spend all evening on the bench outside shouting at each other in some African language. Therefore can't open window for noise, but need window open for ventilation. Rubbish on street. Homeless outside doorway. Hotel itself is ok, just really expensive for what you get. Nice lady receptionist tough. But would never stay there again.
