Large room, compared to hotels in Paris. Clean.

Very noisy (metro line under the hotel), Wooden stairways. Bed was ok - pillows were bad.

Hotel was great clean and comfortable good location for underground and main stations , Good breakfast, left luggage facilities . Good value

The location of the hotel is very accessible. It's just in front of Gare de L'Est which connects to a lot of lines. It's close to Republique, Strasbourg Saint-Denis and Gare du Nord. You can walk from Gare du Nord if you don't have a lot of luggage. The staff, especially Fallon, was very helpful about check-in concerns, leaving the luggage and other requests. The room was clean and adequate for my use. The bathroom was clean and nice. There's a very nice boulangerie in front of the hotel and lots others around the hotel which was nice. There's also a Monoprix supermarket beside it.

Handy for Gare de L’Est.

Really poor value for price. Claims to be 3*, but from our experience is really basic 2* tourist hotel! Supposed ‘Privilege’ room, but no water, tissues etc, description said shower, got a shower over a bath that was so high my partner struggled to use it, plus the old knackered shower head sprayed water all over the bathroom! Air conditioning in 40 degree Paris heat was totally inadequate, centrally controlled and desk were not interested in addressing. We are three weeks into European holiday travelled over 2000 miles and this is poorest hotel we have stayed in and very expensive.
