East Side Hotel Paris Gare de Est a member of Radisson Individuals

The location is perfect. Very close to the subway and walking distance from sacre Coeur. The room is clean. In a quiet street.

Windows don't have mosquito nets so we couldn't open.

Clean and friendly staff and I loved the available bubbly water and espresso!

The exterior sidewalk was quite dirty (feces from houseless people).

Location to the train station and metro was great. Bed was comfortable. Enough space for tourists.

Local area was a little rough.

Had to ask 4 times for hairdryer (once forgotten, once ignored, once broken, finally at the morning of day 3 I got it, after calling again for it). Very uncessarily, I had to insist at lenght with receptionist lady to receive an invoice, with strong feedback from her re the impossibility to receive one "as per 20 years working in hotel", despite clear instructions to do so. Then instead got it almost instantly when I stopped asking receptionist and instead asked for it via booking.com chat system, whereby the farse of not being able to produce invoice was instantly uncovered and fixed. All in all a general feeling that company culture is "i don't like doing this job and/or dont like serving this client, what is the minimum i can do with the minimum intellectual or physical effort to go by without having problems" ... not exactly what I expected when booking a "radisson branded" hotel.
