I had to change the room twice then changed the hotel
First room no AC
Second room there is water leakage from the roof coming from the AC

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to travel to Amsterdam via Eurostar.
However, the area around the station can feel unsafe at night due to the presence of intoxicated individuals and beggars, so it’s not recommended to walk around there after dark.
The breakfast is simple, in line with what you’d expect from a typical Mercure hotel. In Paris. There was only one staff member handling both food preparation and dishwashing, which may affect service efficiency.

This is apparently a 4-star hotel but doesn’t seem to have any valued added service at all (like pools or fitness centres). The door at the entrance of the hotel was also locked and had to be open on request, very unwelcoming. Room door had to be locked by a key, room mugs were replaced with disposable paper cups and room was made up even with the “do-not-disturb” sign put up. City tax was also wrongly charged, had to question the amount calculated initially - do note that the city tax imposed on guests depend on the number of stars the hotel has, and this hotel is definitely not worth the higher city tax charged.
We came from Pullman Lyon (also a 4-star hotel), and this hotel definitely disappointed as a hotel supposedly of an equivalent tier.

Room is very small. I have to open my suitcase on the bed. Some guest put their garbage bag in front of the elevator and left until late morning . It is awful and smelly. I would not recommend the hotel. Sorry but it was poor experience.
