Lovely, calm hotel in a great location. Rooms are generally clean and well-equipped, breakfast was good and the staff were all lovely and helpful.

One of our rooms had an uncomfortably small toilet and shower. In future I'd ask for a room with a different configuration.

Perfect single room for a stay close to Gare de l'Est

I stayed in the single room. The room was small but very functional, with a very nice view of Paris' roofs. The bed was comfy and especially quiet, at the end of a corridor (single rooms are usually on the top floor, just under the roof).

It's not easy climbing the stairs with a suitcase. But that's usual in Paris hotels. There is a school nearby and the kids have recess around 8.30am. However, it only lasted 5-10 mins. That may wake you up.

I want to come again!

Excellent room, clean and comfortable, with a very comfy bed and pillow. Location in a side street ensured little or no traffic noise (I slept like a log) but it's within sight of the main road. Only a couple of minutes to the Gare de L'Est and the Metro, less than 10 minutes' walk to the Gare du Nord. And the eat-all you like breakfast was delicious!

My friend asked for more milk in his room, and was given hot milk when he wanted cold!

The location was very good. The best part about the hotel is its location, as it is near Gare de l’Est station the connectivity makes you feel all good about the hotel

The front desk staff is not that warm. No help if you are a solo traveller with lots of luggage. I mean that’s what hospitality is about right. I would rate them a zero for it. I travelled with 5 bags two of which were 35 kgs each and rest around 11 kgs as am travelling here for a year. The front desk staff wasn’t courteous enough to give a hand. All this despite paying so much. Lack of empathy very robotic toned.

Lovely stay, good position, very good hotel.

The staff were pleasant and very helpful, the room was clean and cleaned every day, the breakfast was very good, everything was available and the attendant was helpful, it was comfortable and in a good position for the train stations and all of the attraction, s, in a safe area.

Modern, comfortable, clean room for a solo traveler

The room was very well designed for a solo traveler, it was a single bed and very little space beyond that. It was very clean, modern, quiet and everything worked well. I did not opt for the breakfast so I cannot comment. The neighborhood was quite convenient and charming with the canal two blocks to the right as you leave the hotel. To the left, the train station was not very far, but it was not a very touristic area. It felt functional and safe, but not a place to spend time.

With such a modern room, I would have liked to have had USB outlets available for charging devices. As it was, I did bring my own so I was not inconvenienced, but perhaps they can be included in the future.

Problem after problem, bad area, not recommended

staff were more or less helpful, but ultimately the quality of service and facilities were very poor. The St Martin canal nearby is very nice.

lots of things: shady gangs drinking and shouting right outside the hotel and in the area, very small toilets, showers not well designed so water went all over the place, shower floor hurt the feet as it is not plain but hard bars raised, cleaning staff had a mess in the halls, they didn't re-fill shampoos/soap in the mornings, there were hanging rails in the room but no hangers (what's the point then?), door card keys didn't work and it took a long time for the receptionist to fix. In general maintenance was very poor and even though they moved us to 3 different rooms, each of them had issues as photos and my review here show. Not recommended. I prefer to pay more next time and get a better stay.

Adequate Hotel for an overnight stay but don't expect any frills.

If you are travelling to or from the Paris Gare de L,'est. It is a very convenient stop+0ver for an oversight stay.

Rooms are exceedingly small as is the lift. The bathroom had a strange onion- like smell.

Good value for money, very comfortable room!

Room was small but with very comfortable bed, very good bathroom arrangements and it was quiet, despite facing the street. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

Reception area looks very dated and needs some refurbishment, as this is the first things that guests see. Lift needs an upgrade too as it was quite shaky, display panel didn’t work properly and the lift carpet was quite dirty.

An affordable accommodation, ideal for a short-timed stay!

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff took very good care of our belongings and even let us deposit our luggage before check-in as we arrived early. The breakfast was overly positive for a fair price - great selection! Our room for two was very small but also comfy. We could even spot the Eiffel Tower from our window! Lastly, the Gare de L’Est main station is only three minutes away so you can easily get around Paris!

The room cleaning schedule sometimes overlapped with breakfast times so we happened to run into the employees. It wasn’t always easy to communicate without some knowledge of French. Also, grocery stores were quite difficult to find nearby.

Our recent stay at Timhotel Paris Gare de l'Est was the second time for me. I had no hesitation in picking it since the staff, location, rooms and breakfast are all excellent. All the staff we met on our four day stay were lovely. They were friendly and helpful which made the holiday all the better.
