Excellent hotel with great connections and a great breakfast.

Very central with Metro and Gare d'Est stations right outside, a huge variety of restaurants on your doorstep. Despite this, the room was pretty quiet and no noise from other rooms. Bed was a little on the soft side for my liking, but everything else was excellent with a great range of hot and cold food for breakfast and efficient lifts. The hotel was about a 7 minute level walk from Gare du Nord so walkable for Eurostar connections. Reception staff were efficient, friendly and able and willing to advise on directions and suggestions. An excellent hotel.

The mattress was a little on the soft side for me, but that't a personal opinion. Nothing else of note.

It was a memorable stay

Excellent location. Quick Check In / Out. The Hotel upgraded us to a lavish suite and added the breakfast for two, both free of cost, being their lucky guests. Lastly it’s bang opportunity the Gare d’est train station.

Didn’t meet my expectations

Didn’t meet my expectation! I expect to have a balcony with the view. I had balcony at the back and i could enjoy the views. I wont came back there.

Great location for trains, comfortable room, and the staff we very nice and helpful (with my very bad French). Also we were chosen as "lucky guests" - and got upgraded and free breakfast.

Loved this hotel

Great breakfast, comfortable bed, easy walk to the Gare d'Est. I opted for the larger room and glad I did. There was a kettle, instant coffee, sugar and cream in our room. The shower was a bit of a disappointment. There's a rain head and a hand-held shower head. The hand-held only pointed straight out. I had raised it thinking it would bend downward. It didn't and the water spilled over the doors and flooded the floor. Other than that, it was great. Robe and slippers are available.

Loved it all. Now that I know how to use the rain head, all is good.

The location is right in front of the train station and metro just right there. The room is spacious enough and we got the room with the balcony and view! We love it. Everything is clean and the staff is nice.

Location was great, room was spacey enough for two people with lots of luggage, the staff was very kind and helpful! There was even an ironing set in the room to use, which we loved!

Nice hotel for decent price in July in Paris: Miracle!

Felt very lucky to find a nice, 4 star-standard suite big enough for a family of four, with view across Paris for a (relatively) good price. Very good bed.

Far perfect but definitely unbeaten if it comes to location!

Unmatched location next to Gare del Este, friendly and helpful staff, the newly arranged interiors on the ground floor.

The room: under the roof, with 3 small windows, so little space that moving for two person at the same time is practically impossible, air condition did not function properly. Visible traces of currently undergoing renovation in the 7th floor where we lived and elsewhere.

A lovely clean modern hotel in a very convenient location near Gare de l'est. The staff at the reception desk were very helpful, it seemed that no request was too much trouble.

Staying at this hotel contributed greatly to our enjoyment of Paris

Excellent location opposite the Gare de lest, handy transport options and Gare du Nord only 10 minutes walk away. Lots of reasonably priced eating places in the vicinity. The reception staff spoke excellent English and were friendly and good humoured.

Nothing really, as a moderately priced hotel it fulfilled our requirements admirably.

We kept asking for changing room with normal working air-condition but was not entertained due the last night of stay

Disappointing

The location

I requested a room with a view but instead I have the view of construction. I contacted the receptionist and told me that they could change us to another room but immediately and this was early morning so my partner was still sleeping and he didn’t assure me we would have a view. I paid a higher tariff because I wanted to have the view but unfortunately this was not the case. I feel that I was scammed with this. They suggested that I contact you. I was celebrating an important date and this ruined the surprise I had for my partner :( I can also send a picture so you can what actual view is. Also, there was Heatwave in London Paris and the air conditioning didn’t work for 3 days. Therefore, we could not sleep and rest. The staff told me that all fans were taken for other guests as the airco was not working in the whole hotel.

It was garbage day on the day of our check out and it took them a long time to collect all the trash. I though we will miss our transportation I called through uber.

Pleasant Stay

The staff are very accommodating and friendly with round the clock service. Luckily, we got a recently renovated room which was clean, presentable and comfortable. The rooms are quite small, but it being Paris, this is common occurrence. It appears a lot of the hotel is under renovation to ‘spruce’ it up. The location is good, being close to Gare Du Nord and there is a Metro right outside the hotel with access to the city.

Some parts of the hotel are tatty, however, they are clearly updates being made. The ‘tatty’ parts are only in the communal hallways however.

The room looks tired and the fabric on the chair was torn. The location was very good. The breakfast spread was very disappointing for the price that we paid.

Perfect location in Paris

The location was perfect, a few minutes walk from Gare du Nord and just outside of the metro station that we were using to move around the city. We stayed on the 6th floor and we had a really nice view of Gare de l'Est station. The room was ok in size compared to the Parisian standards, and the modern and strong hairdryer was a nice surprise (you barely find this type of hairdryers in hotels).

The only thing we didn't like was the fact that the hotel is currently under renovation and the reception was temporarily located on the 1st floor without elevator access. It was also not possible to use the stairs from our floor to the 1st floor due to this. But I would definitely stay there again if I visited Paris in the future.
