Look at the picture of the towel, one while and fluffy, 1 yellowish and worned. I was asked by the reception if I had paid Tourism Tax. He helped me to check my booking records on my Agoda apps and conclude that the Taxes & Fees of *** does not include Tourism Tax. And I paid cash for it. Upon returning home, I realised that I have a receipt from Agoda in my email on Malaysian Tourism Tax of ***. So I was double charged for 2 days of Toursim Tax. Agoda AI chat insisted that I have to check with the hotel with no email nor contact. How smart? Should Agoda or the hotel refund the over charged tourism Tax?

For those with big, heavy luggage, just be aware that there’s no elevator so you need to carry your luggage up the stairs if you’re on the higher floors. Other than that, it’s a good enough hotel for a short stay. The room we stayed in has a private bathroom so it is fine for us but for rooms with no bathroom, it could be a big inconvenience to go out to get to the shared toilet. Short distance from the central station.

It is a perfect location near the train station and center. clean and comfortable. in the floor I was there was only two share bathroom for all rooms, might be not too many, but I did not have to wait too much to use it anyway. Thanks

Good location, but very basic facilities The hotel has a very good location, just one block away from the Central Station, which makes it very convenient for getting around. The breakfast was also acceptable considering the price of the hotel. However, there were several downsides. There is no elevator, and our room was on the 4th floor, so carrying luggage upstairs was difficult. There is also no air conditioning. The mattress was uneven and seemed to need replacement, and there was only one small pillow provided. The bathroom amenities were very basic, with only shampoo and hand wash available. There were also no coffee or tea-making facilities in the room, including no electric kettle. Overall, the location and affordable price are the main advantages, but the hotel could improve considerably in terms of room comfort and basic amenities.
