Great value lovely comfortable bed.
Superb powerful shower.
Great location near Limerick
Big stove in the bar
A tv in the room would make the room homely.
The salmon dinner portion was tiny for a working tradesman.
Strong smell of silage from across the road.

Really friendly staff and a colourful building were the first impressions. The rooms were clean and well kept but you do feel a little squashed in.
As with all accomodation in Ireland, the price is very high for what you would get anywhere else in the world I have been.

Cheap and cheerful double room. Easy to check in at the pub downstairs. Good wifi. Parking outside on the street - plenty of space. Room quite small but passable.
Some road noise although not too bad with earplugs. Also some other noisy guests.

A good idea would be to include Co Clare in your address as we were directed to Broadford Co Limerick. According to the people in the pub in Broadford Co Limerick, it was not the not the first time this has happened.

Overall a lovely stay and good value for money. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean and comfortable and adequate for a one night stay. Restaurant, coffee shop and two pubs very close.
Not the fault of the accommodation but there was a bit of noise from people leaving pubs and passing traffic., A small bedside lamp would have been a nice extra.

There were no TV or side lights or no room around the bed. The room was very small. As was the bathroom. The steps up to the room were very dangerous & slanted. We are both in our 70 ties.

Close to where I needed to be. Friendly welcome and a decent steak.
Road outside was busy but nothing can be done about that. Pub was quiet.

Staff were friendly
Room smelt of cigarette smoke, No top sheet, (I'm tired of explaining why a top sheet is necessary) Access was undesirable, Room was very basic and small. Found a BnB ( breakfast included) not far away for similar money so didn't stay the night and went there. It was beautiful.

The place was advertised as having a restaurant, but when I arrived was told there was no "chef" until the following week. There were no other food options in that village. Had a toastie and chips in the pub, which wasn't really a meal but tided me over. Got out of there early the next morning (5:00 a.m.), so don't know if breakfast would have been available.
Room was SUPER tiny, and wasn't clean. Dirty tissue under bed. One overhead bulb for light, no reading lamp. Sheets and bedding worn, there were bits of dirt in bed so don't know if sheets had been washed. No chair. No closet. Electric kettle, but inside of kettle needed a scrub. Pile of dirty towels on floor outside room (and I arrived at 6 p.m.). Pieces of dark dirt on bathroom floor. Sorry to be so harsh, but it was gross. The women working in the pub were very nice

The room was very cold at night . The place seemed tired and dated , There was no lock on the outside door to the rooms over the pub. Only saw 1 member of staff while we stayed he was looking after the bar and the food and accommodation.

Perfect location for my evening hike, really great value and so handy to be beside the pub to avail of food for both dinner and breakfast the next morning. Really friendly staff and local customers.
It would have been nice to have a TV in the room. My only negative

Sheets not clean. Smell of cooking in property. No breakfast available and expensive for one petson and no breakfast.

The quaint town with friendly people.
The accommodation was more of a flop house for drunks than a hotel. The bathroom stunk of urine. They advertise a TV, but it didn't work, and they didn't seem to care when we mentioned it.

First impressions of the staff good; friendly, helpful. More later.
Good wifi, good food in the pub WHEN AVAILABLE.
- I had booked an apartment, but the room was tiny, and not an apartment at all. Now the owners will say they showed it to me, so I could have objected there and then.
- I was looking forward to my full Irish breakfast, but disappointed it wasn't available until 10am. Not ideal for a travelling salesperson.
- My second night I went for dinner and the guy behind the bar (not the same guy as welcomed me the first night) said chef was off for 2 days. So I went to the local corner shop (thankfully still open) and bought a sandwich, a cold quiche and a packet of crisps. Depressed I went to the pub for a pint afterwards, and they were serving dinner to some other guests!
Were the other guests pushier than me? I will never know.
