Excellent friendly and close to the city centre

I recently stayed at the Absolute Hotel and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. I was delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade, which made my visit even more enjoyable. When it came time to leave, they kindly arranged a taxi for me, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone at the Absolute Hotel for their excellent service and warm hospitality. I truly appreciate it and look forward to staying again.

Great place to stay

Very comfortable room and good sized bathroom. Easy parking and good location in walking distance from town. Pleasant surprise to be upgraded to river view room and offered discount vouchers for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again

We stayed in a suite and it was gorgeous. Couldn’t fault it

I didn’t like the breakfast. It was 14 euro per person (and that was the reduced price) and it just seemed like it had been sitting in the kitchen all morning. Not fresh at all

I’d stay again. Picked it because on the way to Shannon airport. The Town had some historic places.

Very modern smells wonderful in lobby. I enjoy that. Room was upgraded for free! Huge with great hot water and nice towels. Breakfast is not included but we paid extra and it was everything and more.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very nice. Restaurant and bar were very nice.

We didn’t like the fact that there was no parking available at the hotel. We were directed across the street to a garage, which was very dark, seedy and sketchy. We did not feel comfortable at all. We were told it would cost 7 euros with no reimbursement. It ended up costing us 14 euros. We arrived at 8 and left by 9:30. No reimbursement! Very disappointed. Add 15 euros to the cost of that hotel!

Clean, decent room. Proximity to the Shannon airport.

The hotel parking is way too limited for a hotel near the center. It took us nearly 45 minutes to check in because we initially tried to park in the hotel garage, then tried to find parking on the street, and then finally resigned to going to an off-site parking garage, which was suggested in the check-in instructions. Upon finding the off-site parking garage, we realized we needed a code to enter, which was NOT provided in the check-in instructions NOR by the front desk staff that we spoke to when we first pulled up! The icing on the cake was that when we finally obtained the codes, we were assured that parking is only 7 euro overnight, but when we came back early the next morning, we were charged 14. We called the listed emergency numbers and got someone on the line, who then called us back and proceeded to say he is not responsible for that particular garage, so he can't help us! We called another number and no one answered, so we had no choice but to pay so we could leave for the airport. No one ever called us back, but because the parking garage is not affiliated with the hotel, they "take no responsibility." When we went to the hotel restaurant for food, the staff member didn't allow us to sit at a more comfortable table because it was "reserved." No one was seated at that table for the rest of the time we were there.. We then sat without even a drink of water for 15 minutes until someone finally came to take our order. In the end, the food was just okay. Absolutely not worth the price for the amount of hassle and quality. Will not stay here again.

Great choice in Limerick

Great location with easy access to nearby attractions. And nice room too, quite spacious with all the amenities you need. We stayed there on a road trip.

They ran out of parking spaces, so we parked on the street just in front of the hotel. No big deal for us since it is free overnight and Limerick seems to be quite a safe city, but I guess some people would prefer access to secure parking.

Cleanliness, rooms are spacious & well maintained.

Parking is very limited on site. The service for hot food at breakfast was very slow, there is no hot food buffet offerings which is the root cause of the service issue. However, the breakfast staff did apologise for the delay on a couple of times.

Great Stay we will be back, great people, food and atmosphere.

I booked a classic double room, very well presented room which had everything you could need for a stay in the city. We did eat in the restaurant which we enjoyed, good value for money and very comfortable. There a a very nice out door seating area over looking the river, we did not sit out there but it was well maintained and at the time was being enjoyed by several people. I feels it's important to shout out to the staff, very friendly and helpful i didn't have a lot of interaction myself but, i did notice others in the bar and restaurant as well as reception and people always happy and engaging well with the staff. We had actually stayed here only a month ago and our experience was equal to that, no change in how we felt during and after our stay.

Unfortunately, i have one negative point and it is parking. I will start by saying the carpark is quite small and was full on both of our stays, this of course is not a reason to stay anywhere as there is a multi story that can be used across the road which i did use. On our previous stay there was a small area across from the front door which was available to use as a little over flow carpark, unfortunately this area has been removed from the hotel by the city as the area is having works done. All and all, this hotel is a great place to stay for couples and or families alike.

Shannon River gorgeous location with award winning restaurant.

Beautiful location on the River Shannon River with white swans living outside our window. Our Upgraded room that was huge. The restaurant food was the best we had in all of Ireland.
