Herdwick Cabin

Very nice caravan clean and plenty of room for 6 people, everything we needed was there. Very nice welcome basket of tea,coffee and biscuits. The only issue we had was trying to use the smart features on TV we tried everything but it would not connect to the Internet. The photo of the outside looks like the caravan next door. No68 on outside would help locate the caravan more easily. Would definitely consider staying again.

The stay was pleasant. We liked our stay. It was comfortable

No bin in the toilet and an air fresher

Good location near Ambleside, very warm and well insulated. Lots of seating area with table. Good hot shower. Nice setting overall

Cooker very slow like a caravan one. Pillows and duvets very flimsy and poor quality. Kitchen cooking dishes and frying pans need updating. Batteries missing in all candies and lamps. Only tea towels for a whole week. Site facilities need updating as wrong info given re wellness facilities that are not all available!

Location was excellent. If the owner spent a bit of time and love on the van it would have been perfect.

Three of the rooms didn't have lighting in them; the kitchen, hall way and one of the bedrooms. Also a lot of the crockery had chips and cracks. Our contact apologised for the above and offered an additional hour to be added to our check out day. Also the voiles and some of the bedding had mildew on them. On returning home I needed to wash all of my clothes due to the small of mildew on them.
