Cosy, comfortable and relaxing.

Great lodge and location - all you need for a great stay

Lovely cabin, had everything we needed and was in a perfect location.

Would have liked to be able to enjoy the leisure facilities on site and bought a pass for the week but found that the time restrictions on the access to the pool to very limited so did not use the passes in the end which were over £7 per person.

The lodge was very cosy and warm. The location on the sight was perfect for us.

Pity the trees had grown to obscure the view but we still enjoyed watching the birds. It felt private.

It was a very relaxing trip away.

It is in a fantastic location, only 10 mins from Bowness. The beds were extremely comfortable and the place felt very cost. Lots of room to seat everyone and enjoy your evenings. Outside decking area was also great to chill. Was able to park 4 cars.

Cluttered but peaceful

Location was great. Close to windermere and site had pub restaurant shop play area lake and dog walking area. Lovely comfy sofa and huge secure deck for dog. Lodge has own parking and was nice and cool when it was 25 outside.

Bit dated. Interior could do with modernising. So much "stuff" 30 glass, 3 sets of cutlery, 4 coffee/side tables, 14 deck chairs, scatter cushions galore! And a junk draw. Think it could do with a good clear out, I felt I wanted to tidy up and throw some stuff out.

Very quiet, everything you need is there, 5 mins to the lake, onsite pub and shop, swimming pool, ample parking.

Great if the price reflected the value of the property but you can get much higher spec for the price.

The location was perfect for a visit to the Lake. Very quiet setting and very peaceful

Not as advertised, the reference to a Sauna is the site one, which you don’t have Access to unless you pay a fee to the site. Also the swimming pool referenced is the same and unless you are booked onto 1 of the 45 minute slots. You are told to queue on the chance of availability . Also complaints about the cleanliness of the property.

Great log cabin, ideal for families. Highly recommended!

Great self catering log cabin, spacious, spotless clean , warm, comfortable mattresses, TV, books & board games, close walk to the club house, play park, indoor pool and entertainment, short drive to local amenities, great walks for dog, family & pet friendly. Highly recommend 😊 5star- fab place to stay!

Nice midweek but disappointed re: swimming pool. Poor weekend due to noise.

Location was great. Cabin and cabin facilities great. Beds really comfortable

We went Wed-Sun. Wed-Fri was lovely and peaceful. Friday evening and the weekend noisy with lots of groups of adults getting drunk, shouting and screaming and setting off fireworks which really scared the dogs. Booking said we have a cabin pass for the swimming pool for £15. We were actually charged £7.50 per person. Reception knew nothing of the £15 cabin rate. Huge disappointment. In addition, the pool was out of order one day due to repairs and was owner only much of the time restricting how much we could use it.

Very little

There is no Wi-Fi the heating doesn’t work very well the shower is pathetic and this is very very tired and dated. If you have the lights on and try to cook and put the kettle on the electrics keep blowing. Never again.

Nice little getaway. Would visit again. Don't book through booking.com though.

Lodge was lovely. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space outside. Everything provided that you would need. Kids loved it.

Site washing machine broke so had to hand wash all our clothes for the last 4 days. Don't use booking.com to pay for your holiday here. Was charged twice and still not refunded me after 6 weeks. Have litlerally stolen my money. Go direct to site to pay.
