Escape with friends or family to this holiday home in the heart of the Lake District National Park and discover the perfect balance of lively lakeside days and outdoor adventures. Located 1 mile from Bowness-on-Windermere, the house is ideally positioned to explore one of the Lake District's most vibrant areas. Bowness is brimming with boutique shops, cosy cafes and fine dining restaurants. A leisurely stroll along the shores of Lake Windermere is a must. From the lakeside, you can board a scenic boat trip, giving everyone the chance to admire the surrounding fells from the water. Families, in particular, will love a visit to The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, where beloved storybook characters are brought to life.
Inside, the modern kitchen will delight keen cooks, equipped with everything needed to prepare delicious meals and plentiful worktops for prepping and plating. The inviting living area provides a welcoming setting to settle in, with comfortable seating and large windows framing views across the lake and gardens. It's a lovely place to curl up with a good book or gather for a film night. On the ground floor, there's a convenient bedroom with a WC, along with an accessible bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower and bath, thoughtfully designed to suit a range of guests. Upstairs, the first double bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom complete with a bath for a long soak. A second double room on this floor also has its own en-suite with a bath, plus a dressing area that adds practicality.
Outside, a private garden and patio invite you to dine in the open air, with an outdoor table and chairs ready for lazy lunches and evening meals in the warmer months. Private parking for two cars is provided so you can come and go with ease.
