Well worth the stay.

The property was very pretty, incorporating modern decor with the traditional architecture of the building. The location was excellent, right between the station and the ocean, and near some very good restaurants, but remarkable quiet. The owner was very helpful and responsive with ideas. A

The air conditioner was adequate, but could be a little more responsive. The bathroom door was a sliding door rather than a proper door, not the most private, but private enough.

Bright, modern studio in a good location.

Bright, modern studio in a central location. Perfect for a short stay. Roberto the host was most helpful and responded to any queries very quickly.

Access to the studio is via a steep staircase which is almost always blocked by people sitting eating take away food. A little unpleasant and also difficult to ‘navigate’ with luggage. The studio has air conditioning which was definitely a bonus. However the unit is installed at a low level directly beside the bed so is rather noisy if needed at night.

We enjoyed our stay at L'Onda di Manarola. The rooms where clean, comfortable, and perfectly located. The room would be hard to find on your own, but with Roberto as our host, we made our way. The air conditioning worked perfectly and we enjoyed Manarola as it was quite but with enough places to get food and drinks. This city was great for a family with kids as it was less crowded thank the other cities. It was also during the week, so a bit crowded but not as crowded as on the weekend in August. Roberto was a great host and assisted us with any questions promptly. We enjoyed our time in Cinque Terre and in this beautiful boutique hotel.

Honestly, we were comfortable in all ways and we can't think of anything that we didn't like.

great stay and a truly helpful host.

great location on the lower third of the Manarola “strip”. basically a third floor room overlooking the Main Street of Manarola. With the window closed the room was very quiet. we slept with the window open as the people traffic quieted down after 10 pm or so. Room is clean, up to date, very roomy, bathroom is good size, good size shower that included shampoo, bath gel, soap, etc., plenty of towels. Wine and water were in the small fridge, coffee/tea also available. Robert met us right on time and was very easy to reach and kept in contact with us before and during check in. there are stairs (not too many) to reach the room. but if you are not comfortable with stairs and uphill walking you should not be staying in Cinque Terre.

Check in process was awful, email explaining it was sent same day as checkin late in the day (we were travelling and had no internet so did not receive). Didn't get provided with door codes ahead of time, had to find wifi. Poor communication from host. Stressful experience.

Wouldn’t do it again.

Located right in the heart of Manarola. The room was clean and had obviously been recently renovated.

After navigating through the ups and downs of the town, and through the throngs of people, a long flight of uneven stairs to haul suitcases up was a challenge. Getting into the room was a problem since I had no access to the internet or cellular to message the manager. The air conditioner was extremely loud and the room very small and basic. Also, 10am check out is very early.

Peaceful and pleasant place to stay

It is located in Manarola of Cinque Terre so you can expect some stairs. If you’re traveling light, this shouldn’t be a problem. The stay was wonderful and any time we needed anything, it was so easy to contact someone and receive assistance.

The room was fine, and mostly as expected - modern and clean. The location is great. The host was responsive via whatsapp.

The listing advertises a king bed, which is specifically why we chose this listing. However the bed was actually a double, not a king. Also, check-in instructions were sent via whatsapp and only given once we arrived at the door - rather than being sent beforehand which would have made checking in after a long day of travel a bit easier and quicker.

well located but extremently uncomfortable bed and no working AC

the location was great and the little room was well organised and cute

the mattress was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. really really painful to lay on. it was really hot in the room as the AC was not working (super loud and also leaking water on the floor). lastly the instructions to get there were not clearly communicated and really last minute so it was not easy to find it

Everything was great and we enjoyed the stay very much. The rooms are modern and the location is perfect. The owner is very helpful and friendly.

Altstadtflair in Manarol

Direkt über der Altstadt von Manarola. Total sauber. Die gemauerten Stein-Elemente in der Unterkunft geben einem das Gefühl man lebt im Fels der Küste. Roberto war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine richtig schöne Zeit :-)

etwas lauter weil die Unterkunft über der Hauptstraße der Altstadt liegt und heiß trotz Klima-Anlage (diese befindet sich genau neben dem Bett)
