Like staying on a railway platform

The noise - and there’s nothing the owners can do about it! The main intercity railway line runs under the bedroom and trains run every 10-15 minutes all through the night. Having ear plugs doesn’t even begin to block out the noise. It’s absolutely terrible. Having a coffee machine right outside your door which everyone uses is also noisy. No where to store your clothes. Shower never really got hot.

Perfect base for Cinque Terre
Great location close to the train. Excellent communication and assistance to settle into the apartment. A view of the sea from the balcony but fewer steps to reach the room compared to many other options. We took up the opportunity to book the sunset cruise and this enhanced our stay. We had train delays on arrival but were able to still make the cruise and was a perfect way to relax and see Cinque Terre. Staying in Manarola was perfect as a base to hike or train to the other villages. Had a washing line on the balcony as per photo.

It did the job for a couple of nights!
The property was very central and an easy walk from the train station. The host came to meet us and guided us to the properly. We were able to check in slightly early.
It appears there is an issue with damp in the room we stayed in. There was paint peeling on the wall above the bed as well as in the bathroom above the shower. The corner of the floor next to the bed was also wet which we assume was caused by the damp. The wine glasses left in the room were actually dirty and didn’t seem to have been changed for us.

Wonderful location and easy to enjoy all that Manorola offers.
Wonderful location,easy to get to from the station.Not too many stairs to climb at the end of our busy days.Very comfortable bed,quiet and peaceful. The little verandah was so lovely to relax on in the afternoons.Away from the crowds but you still felt part of beautiful Manarola. Highly recommend
Be aware that the cinque Terre pass only covers three days of tourist hikes.Unfortunately we were told that the pass would last for the duration of our stay.

All around great
Most everything, from communication to the facilities, size of the room and location which was just outside the train tunnel.
Not a 10 because of minor stuff such as only one small garbage bin in the bathroom (no big one in the main bedroom), wifi didn't reach the beds and in most of the bedroom was unstable, it was only 100% available in the bathroom.

Really nice room, located very close to restaurants, shops, and the Manarola train station. Very helpful staff, ensuring a great overall experience.
