Like a dream so incredible.

There is so much to say. The room was incredible with lots of space but still somewhat cozy. The shower was absolutely massive and seemed like something from a spa. There was also what I presumed to be a shower chair that would be great for elderly or those with disabilities that are weary of slipping. The main shower head was like a rain-shower but there was still lots of pressure, the secondary head was handheld if needed. There was a lockbox for those who like to store their valuables while exploring. There was a small fridge with complimentary drinks. Above the fridge were small snacks and mini bar set with a wine opener, stopper, glasses, mugs etc in case you want to have a drink in the room. There were lots of options for lights, many lamps for those who hate overhead lighting. I didn't realize how close to the water the location was until seeing instagram videos of Manarola and being able to point out "hey I stayed there!!", that will forever be cherished. I know I heard a few people complain about the "stairs" in Manarola but besides the doorstep it was accessibile. The bed and the pillows were my absolute favorite part of my stay, I never wanted to leave. I'm studying abroad and it was much needed to have a solid good nights sleep. Additionally, the hosts were so friendly and provided recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat at. Very sweet and welcoming. I would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the area and it would be amazing if I ever got the chance to return to the area and stay again. Loved loved loved my stay here it was an absolute dream.

Location that is easy to walk to in charming Manarola. Waterfront just steps away.

Short walk from train station. No stairs! Modern shower facilities. Helpful host!

The high street just literally out the front door - can’t leave window open because of the noise and people are standing about just outside (because of room size that means they look straight into your bedroom!)

Right on the water. (Minimal view of the water though). Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Room is immaculate.

Thought we would have more of a view (you just have to take 5 steps outside to get the view. You are right on the street. People are literally sitting at a restaurant table 10 feet from your window at street level

Highly recommend staying at Salty Dreams

Beautiful little property in the most amazing location. The space was clean, and welcoming with tea/coffee, snacks, Prosecco and beer which was a kind surprise. Very central to everything and no steps to climb!

Wonderful stay in the most perfect location!

We had a fantastic stay at Salty Dreams! Our host, Giulia, was incredibly kind and helpful. She provided step-by-step check-in instructions and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. From personalized suggestions on what to see and where to eat, to thoughtful guidance throughout our visit, Giulia’s hospitality truly made our experience special. The guest room itself was clean, comfortable, and functional …everything we needed for a relaxing stay! The location couldn’t be better as it’s just a short walk from the train station and steps away from the water. It was easy to find and perfectly situated for exploring beautiful Manarola. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Cinque Terre!

From the moment we met our hosts, Giovanni and Paolo, we felt right at home and the bottle of Prosecco in our room was a lovely touch. Our room was perfect, very cosy and in the best location, close to the sea. We will definitely recommend this place to everyone. We had the most amazing time in Manarola.

Manarola and Salty Dreams made are stay unforgettable!

First, the hospitality of Giovanna when we arrived was warm and welcoming. She showed us the room which was very nice and comfortable,took time to explain any details that we needed to know. The property was located as close as possible to the ocean ; which meant we were in the center of things. Giovanna also recommended places to see , (especially Porto Venere which is not part of Cinque Terre towns but enjoyed immensely). Finally we were giving a welcoming bottle of champagne!!(We unfortunately did not try it.

Fully recommend Salty Dreams for your stay in Manarola.

A short walk from the Manarola train station tunnel brings you to this wonderful apartment. Manarola, like other towns in Cinque Terra, is very hilly, so this place, a stone's throw from the water, will be a godsend if you have bags of any substantial size and/or you want to avoid flights and flights of stairs - some of the accommodation is way up above the town. So, beware, if you choose a place with views from up on high, you'll need to be prepared to walk up and up to get there. The apartment is reasonably spacious, though one side of the double bed is against a wall. It's quiet at night, so a restful sleep is easily achieved. A corridor, leading to the bathroom located at the rear of the apartment, gives a greater sense of space. The bathroom is a standout - very modern, and a huge shower. Soaps and shampoo are also very good quality, and the towels are thick and luxurious. The bed is firm, and the bedding is very good quality. Snacks, water, and a bottle of prosecco (!) are provided gratis, as is tea and coffee. Artwork is bright and quirky, giving the room a funky feel. The hosts, Giovanna, Giulia and Paolo, are wonderful. Friendly, effervescent characters who make you feel totally welcome (seriously, they greeted us like we were old friends!), and are so helpful with all the information they have about the area.

Lovely Guest Room in Manarola.

We booked this location based on previous reviews and we weren’t dissapointed. Great location within 5 minutes of the train station. No steps once you leave the station was a big plus. The owner gave us great recommendatios for day trips. Lots of good places to eat at anytime.

Great stay - Wish there’s a view of the sea.

It’s close proximity to where everything happens.

It would really helpful if they replenish the complimentary water every day especially since there’s no store to buy water at night. We stayed for 3 nights and only got 1 water. Also, note that there’s no sea view on this property.

Perfect accommodation in a Perfect little town.

Absolutely amazing accommodation, in what is a stunning location. Manarola can be very busy like all Cinque Terre , but come the evening it is the most beautiful place to stole around , and if there is any accommodation here that has a nicer outlook and ease of access to everything i would be surprised. All contact made is done very professionally, and you get the feeling they are just a call away for any help. Thanks for the water and bottle of Fizz that greeted us , Lovely surprise. Do not hesitate booking up Salty Dreams , and i so hope to visit again one day.

The view was great, an awesome location for sightseeing and swimming! And so close to so many great restaurants. Host met us at the door and was super helpful.

The view was nice but most of the time there were too many tourists to enjoy it and see the water but not the hosts fault.

Comfortable and clean accommodations, central location, great host

The guesthouse seemed newly renovated and is located in a prime location right new to the water and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Giulia was very welcoming and accommodated my same day request to stay the night.

The only issue is that it can be loud because of how central it is (especially if you want to sleep in), but that's the tradeoff. The breakfast can also be better, but there's very good food nearby.

Great location in beautiful Manarola

The location could not have been better and that is why it’s so good it’s right by the harbour so you can sit outside at night with a cocktail from bar next door and listen to the waves ! The room is modern and clean and spacious .

Wunderschöne charmante Unterkunft. Tolle Lage.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in Manarola , sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Direkt am Wasser. Atemberaubende Umgebung und Klippen-Wanderwege in unmittelbarer Nähe. Comfortables Doppelbett Bett und großes Bad. Das Zimmer ist ausgestattet mit Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank inklusive Getränke. Perfekte Lage um alle 5 Dörfer an der Küste zu erkunden. Der Bahnhof ist zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen und man muss keine Treppensteigen. Sehr zu empfehlen.
