Its position is amazing with views to die for. The beds were extremely comfortable with quality bedding linen. The lounge, dining, kitchen areas were well laid out and spacious. A parking space at the side was a bonus. The was plenty of wardrobe space in all the bedrooms and all were of a good size. Bathrooms were well designed and the shower on the top floor was a good size. The luxury Molton Brown products were a nice touch in the bathrooms. Everywhere was decorated beautifully. Outside the patio area was large with benches, chairs and a large table. Plenty of seating from which you could watch the harbour life and the Abbey and the amazing sunsets. 2 minutes walk to the Royal Hotel and the whalebones, on a quiet one way street with bars, shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk and the pier and beach a few minutes more. I would highly recommend this property.

No tea towels were provided, luckily we took some. There was not enough cutlery. Some of the china needed replacing as it was badly chipped. There were no hairdryers, lucky we had taken one. More lamps in the lounge please, there was only one, otherwise it was a glaring 4 bulb light fitting. Some games for adults and children would have been a nice touch. Make sure you put the chain across the drive, we had several people walking onto the patio to take pictures. If you have young children or a dog there is nothing to stop them getting out onto the road. We had to make a makeshift barricade. The patio had not been swept and was littered with tab ends. No instructions about putting the bins out for collection. 3 kitchen bins were provided, we assumed for normal waste and recycling but again no instructions. Replacement bin liners were not provided. Apart from that the property is amazing and with a few small tweaks it could be even better.
