Fadó & Tide Apartments

We had breakfast one one of the mornings at Fado - it was excellent in terms of food quality and service

Found the bed mattresses a little hard

We stayed in Tide and the apartment is absolutely gorgeous. It was clean, tidy and very well presented. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. The location couldn’t be better with the beach being just a few minutes away and it’s central to shops and food resources. This is the second time we’ve stayed in the fàdo and tide apartments with our 3rd stay already booked :)

I come to stay with my neurodivergent (adult) son and the reason for staying is to give him a break from his day to day living at home. What he loves to do is watch films and we found that sometimes the WIFI would not be on top form which he found frustrating. When we stayed on our first stay in Fàdo, the WIFI was great, but in tide it wasn’t so great so if there was anything that could be improved, it could maybe be that BUT I do understand that most people who come away for a break wouldn’t necessarily be using the WIFI as frequently.

Location was great. Really big bedrooms. Nice sized bathroom and good shower. Host was very attentive and friendly.

Bin in kitchen was way too small, no freezer in the fridge, as mentioned in other reviews entrance was right in front of industrial bins and it was very messy. Full length mirror would have been nice! Music downstairs bothered us one night but we left for some peace and quiet 😂
