Millenium Green, located below the castle, features a huge public riverside green and weir, as well as good indoor and outdoor dining options via the Green Cafe, which is positioned right on the river. Since the twelfth century, Ludlow has had street markets. Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday throughout the year, a traditional open-air market takes place in the town square.
