Two nights after snow fell

Cleanliness, comfortable, lovely bed, homely feel, warm, great location

Minor points really - would have preferred a sofa rather than 2 comfy chairs. Also, water wicks around the corner of the shower onto the bathroom floor, even for a while after the shower is turned off.

The cottage was warm clean & comfortable, just lacked a few personal touches

Warm, clean, good shower, comfortable bed

Big bungy bath towels would have been good instead of the rather thin inadequate ones supplied, also one small hand towel not enough for 2 people for a week. A small fire of some kind in the sitting room would have created a more cosy feel. No welcome pack at Christmas!! Not even a mince pie!! Having owned self catering Gites in France & a welcome pack was always appreciated….just a nice friendly touch.

Has the potential to be perfect

The cottage is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Location is right in the middle of Ludlow, however in a very quiet position. Parking available with the property is a bonus. Great shower.

The bed/mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. We didn't sleep well at all the 2 nights we were there. The 2 bath towels provided were tiny. Would have expected 2 towels per person with 1 one a bath sheet.

The accommodation, the setting and the location were great.

The attention to detail with extras like a sewing kit and plenty of cooking items.

We did not receive the email from booing.com with the code to access the keys until 4.15pm when we were there at 3pm. The previous email had a pin code which we thought was the keypad code but wasn't. Luckily there was an emergency contact number whuch we did use. The man was not very happy but did eventually come out to let us in. He said we should have read the information on the booking websiite as he did not have our email address. As I had already been receiving emails I though that was how the information would come. It was not a great start to our stay. I am wondering why the email with the arrival information was too late to be if use, and feel the previous email pin code was misleading.

The decor of the cottage was to a very high standard and very tasteful. Our fob key for the electric gates stopped working and the owner came straight round and replaced the fob.

Flower cottage Ludlow- a great find.

Location was perfect. The small balcony terrace was great and used for a few hours every afternoon. Bed was very comfortable.

The bathroom towels although nice could have been larger- not really shower size. The 2 armchairs downstairs were awkward ans not comfy - no neck support although they looked great. A sofa with proper back and neck support would be better . Was unable to sit in the chairs for long and unable to relax in them. The heating manual online was difficult to understand. Clearer instructions to get the heating on would be a big improvement. Luckily there was really only one chilly morning and evening. A pair of scissors in the kitchen would be useful.

Perfect accommodation location for a break

Lovely 2 person self catering "cottage" with everything you need. Very well furnished, welcoming, cosy and clean. A good sized bedroom space with a modern en suite shower room. Flower cottage has the advantage of a small, sunny balcony off the bedroom, ideal for relaxing, reading or a drink of your choice! A very easy short walk takes you into Ludlow, where you will find plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars. The secure private parking means you can leave the car behind!

Not a dislike more of a "beware". The ample bed cover shields the bed legs which could, and did, catch toes out!

Anniversary visit

The location was stunning, right next to both the castle and the nearest pub (both barely a minutes walk away) but silent and serene in its secluded pocket of garden. Immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and, even in the middle of a 30 degree heatwave, cool enough at night to sleep properly. We especially loved our early morning drink on the bedroom balcony watching the birds swoop overhead and listening to the church bells in the distance.

Flower cottage is a charming, quiet and beautifully decorated cottage, located within walking distance of Ludlow Castle. Underfloor heating, its own balcony and a comfortable bed are special features, making this proper a real treat.

Right next to the Castle, close to the town, shops, bars and restaurants. A charming cottage in a quiet, gated area away from traffic. All the facilities you could need. Comfortable bed. Private, secure parking on site.

We couldn't find any instructions in the property about how things worked, where to put rubbish, what to do on departure, etc. We had no contact with the owner throughout our stay, so don't even know who they are. A bit strange, that.

Lovely stay

The cottage was warm and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. It is in a great location, minutes from the centre of town but wonderfully peaceful. We didn’t have to use the car during our 2 day stay as we could reach everywhere on foot.

We ate out but if we had cooked we would have needed a user guide for the air fryer.

Comfortable, stylish accommodation, everything was easy to use and it was very clean and bright

Lovely cottage, very comfy with everything you could need, peaceful and quiet, even though it is so close to the castle and main square. Ludlow is so interesting and charming, so many super places to eat and a vibrant arts centre where you can see films and live music which we enjoyed very much.

Nothing, it was a perfect place to stay for a September break.
