About this house rental
Welcome to the heart of the Clos de la Meslerie vineyard.
The Cottage du Vigneron is attached to the manor house, located in the heart of the estate’s vineyards.
Upon request, we’ll give you a tour of the wine press house, featuring its historic Mabille press—still in working order—and the cellar, where you’ll enjoy a tasting of wine straight from the barrels!
As a welcome gesture, we’ll treat you to an aperitif on the evening of your arrival.
For breakfast, you’ll find coffee pods, tea, homemade jam, and honey from the estate’s beehives. Fresh bread and pastries will also be delivered on the first morning of your stay.
You’ll enjoy a stay surrounded by nature, while still being close to the village (3 km) of Vernou-sur-Brenne, where you’ll find 2 bakeries, 2 delis, a bar-tobacco shop, a produce stand, a newsstand, a pharmacy, and a supermarket…
The first floor
The cottage features a 38 m² living-dining room with a fully equipped open kitchen
In this space, you’ll find a Godin wood-burning stove (firewood provided), a stereo system with an USB port, a TV and DVD player (you can borrow DVDs on request from a selection of over 300 titles), and Wi-Fi internet access.
There is also a separate toilet, a bedroom with a double bed (13.5 m²), and an attached bathroom (5 m²).
You’ll have a private terrace facing the 12 x 5 m saltwater-treated heated pool (open in summer only).
The terrace includes a barbecue, a table with two benches, outdoor furniture, and a parasol.
Upstairs (31.5 m²)
Upstairs, a landing leads to 2 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds (double bed available upon request), a shower room, and a separate toilet. Both bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning.
Table linens, towels, and bed linens are provided.
The beds are made upon your arrival, and end-of-stay cleaning is included in the package, which also covers hot water, electricity, and heating.
Baby gear can be provided upon request (crib, high chair, baby bathtub, baby bouncer, as well as toys and books) at no additional cost.

La maison se trouve dans un magnifique vignoble dont le vin est excellent. Le lieu est très charmant, la maison est très bien équipée et la piscine était formidable.
Les hôtes sont très gentils et à l'écoute, et ont fait preuve d'une grande hospitalité.
Nous vous remercions encore pour notre séjour et nous espérons pouvoir revenir si l'occasion se présente.
