This is a fabulous holiday cottage, peaceful but accessible and with everything you need for a lovely holiday. There was amle room for a family of 6, includidng 3 adult children The cottage itself is fabulous - downstairs there are two seating areas, a master bedroom with ensuite, main bathroom, toilet, and a kitchen. There are two further bedrooms upstairs, one ensuite with a shower, and a separate toilet. The kitchen has everything you could need and more, lots of utensils, pots, pans, bowls, cutlery, glasses, and enough plates to cater for a full house. There is a gas cooker with oven, dishwasher, filter coffee machine, microwave, toaster, fridge-freezer (Brand new when we stayed). There is one large table inside another on the patio just outside the back door and a decking area up by the pool, with tables and chairs, stored in the pool house, but are simple enough to move. There is also a large barbecue area.The pool is immaculate and a great size.The cottage is in a rural setting, but there is a huge amount to do nearby with Chateaux that are loaded with history, and those loaded with Wine, if you are into Wine, I highly recommend the Caves Cathelineau.The hosts are so welcoming and helpful, they will happily provide you with a list of recommended places; all the ones we tried were great.Our only regret was not staying longer, we loved our time here and would have no hesitation in booking again

We had a wonderful time at this house. There were only two of us but it can definitely accommodate a larger group. The house was just what we envisioned when looking to find a place in this area and it was just as pictured. Pascal and I believe his wife met us when we arrived and showed us around / gave us a tour of the house and property. The area seemed very centrally located to various day trips we wanted to take in the loire valley. This was a great house - we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely, spacious house with a fabulous pool. Definitely one of the nicest pools we've experienced! The bedroom/ bathroom layout of the house wasn't quite what we expected but worked very well for us. Bedding and towels are an additional cost. Information on the nearest boulangerie would be a helpful addition! Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would definitely stay again.

Great trip

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious, well equipped property. Weather was fantastic which meant we could fully enjoy the beautiful swimming pool and garden. Very well situated for the town of Amboise and highly recommend visiting Villandry, Chenonceau and Chateau du Clos Luce - all within about 20 minutes. Bedding and towels are at an additional cost to arranged a few days before holiday starts. Watch out for the water display which starts every evening at 9:50pm in the back garden, gave us lots of entertainment especially if still on the patio. Hope to go back again soon.

Nous avons séjourné 5 jours dans cette superbe demeure. Un week-end rendu parfait grâce à l’accueil chaleureux des hôtes mais également les attentions apportées dans cette maison. Nous avons eu le plaisir de visiter le département grâce à son emplacement, très bien situé, non loin de l’ensemble des châteaux de la Loire. Cette maison a beaucoup de charme et est entièrement équipée, vous avez simplement à poser vos bagages et profitez du séjour (piscine chauffée, jardin, barbecue…). Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour en famille et nous recommandons cette grande maison où il fait bon vivre. Nous conservons l’adresse et nous ne manquerons pas de revenir si l’occasion se présente à nouveau 😊.

Nous avons passé un super sejour dans cette maison tres spacieuse. les exterieurs sont tres agreables .En plus d'une terasse ensoleillée , un petit coin repas pres de la piscine tres apprécié pour de bonnes soirées. Ados et adultes ravis. merci à Pascal et son épouse pour leur acceuil.

Gîte top pour un regroupement en famille ou entre amis. Les zones de couchage sont bien indépendantes et les parties communes suffisame t grandes et pratiques. Très bien équipé. De plus, Pascal, l hôte, est très à l écoute et de bon conseils.
