If you're looking to expand your horizons and see other nearby locales, you can catch a train at either Le Bosquet Station, a short 6-minute walk away, or Cannes-la-Bocca Station, 7 minutes away.

Good for beach lovers, but weak A/C
Good for beach lovers, but weak A/C
The location is great for beach lovers, since it is less than a 10 minute walk to the beach. The stretch of beach that is close by is quiet, but isn't the best section though ... you have to walk another 10-15 min towards Cannes. There are a few restaurants directly below the apartment, which is convenient, but can get noisy at night (plus the heat from the kitchen rises). There is a convenience store and small supermarket close by. There are plenty of beach toys to purchase close by. Unfortunately, that is where the pluses end and the minuses start. Communications with the host was poor, and checking into the place was also very stressful. We had received an email from the host "Here are your keys" 2 days before check-in - could not find on the Vrbo app. I immediately reached out to the host for clarification ... but did not receive a response until the morning of check-in! Needless to say, we were very nervous and anxious during those two days, since we had no idea if we would be able to access the apartment. We even called Vrbo Support to try to reach the host, but in vain. The host asked us to contact them via Whatsapp on the morning of check-in ... but we insisted on using the Vrbo app, so we could have all our communications in one place ... and under the Vrbo eyes, in case anything went awry. Eventually we got the instructions and arrived outside the courtyard ... which was locked! The instructions did not describe a locked courtyard - stress levels continue to go up. Eventually we got the host on the phone, and I'm not sure how it happened, but we gained access to the courtyard ... then the instructions to enter the apartment were ok. We were hoping to finally settle in and relax, only to walk into a fireplace! The air conditioning was way underpowered - so weak that we didn't realize it was on even at maximum. The temperature inside was almost unbearable at times - we could barely sleep. The pictures matched the actual apartment, except that the walls are more scuffed up and the sofa has more stains. The kitchen sink was dirty, and found a batch of long hair when we arrived. There was barely one roll of toilet paper (we had to go buy our own), and the upstairs bathroom didn't have any soap. The overall unit felt dirty. Wifi was weak. 2 full bathrooms was a bonus, and available washer and dryer is nice. The port/marina is about 50-60min walk, or Uber, or bus (we didn't try). This was not the unit for us - we will not be returning.

Awful experience. The worst host to exist. Long story short. We were cancelled on abruptly as we were STANDING in the front door waiting to be let in on the very first day. Keep in mind we flew from U.S. to Paris and then took a bus across country just to get cancelled on with NO heads-up. I had to come out of pocket with twice as much money to fix this myself as VRBo is yet to compensate or be of any help. It’s an ongoing situation till this day. This is so bad it’s Lawsuit bad. HORRIBLE AWFUL HIGHLY AVOID!!!!!!!
