The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was outstanding and plentiful.
The location was a little isolated.

Excellent dinner and exceptionally friendly service - bedroom was very comfortable - -. Great tea choices for the room
Bedside lights were not ideal for reading as positioned on a chair and therefore quite low.
An upright shower in the bathroom would have been great, rather than a handheld option in the bath.
Concerned about spillage from tea making on nice old chest of drawers so a tray for those facilities would begreat.

Breakfasts were excellent, host checked everyone’s individual requirements and delivered them perfectly.

Uniqueness of the hotel, comfort of bedroom and friendliness of staff
Very little. Steep stairs but there's not much that can be done about that
