It was a compact and clean property, ideal for what we wanted.
There was no microwave in the kitchen. The lighting was a little dim in the lounge.

Very quiet location, easy walk to the shopping centre, bed was comfortable and the shower had great pressure. Kitchen well stocked. The place was very clean. It is a small space as the name suggests but it is great for two people for a short stay. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
Not a big deal but I personally prefer a much lighter living area - it was painted a darkish green including the roof, it’s a nice colour but I found it a bit dark but the bedroom is light and airy and has a nice comfy chair to sit and read a book.

Tucked away near town, excellent water pressure in shower,
Dark cave-like interior in downstairs… no microwave but plenty of counter space for one…tiny bath towels… kitchen light was “sizzling” when flipped on and erratic… this is major fire risk that needs to be addressed.. no parking included

The Nook is in a great location for exploring Morpeth and the surrounding area.It was very cosy and the bed was very comfy.
The bathroom was very clean and the shower pressure was great.Plenty of hot water but the shower cubicle was a bit snug-limited by the size of the bathroom to be fair.
Bath towels were also quite small but my husband is 6 feet 1.
An information pack for the property might also be useful-we did find the instructions for the cooker in a kitchen cupboard but info gathered in one place is always a bonus.
Sorry to be nit-picking -we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again!

Quiet location. Small, but everything we needed for a weekend stay.
Parking near the property was difficult.

Well equipped kitchen. Good location, just a short walk from shops, cafes and excellent leisure centre. And very responsive hosts.
Pillows. Minimal natural light.

Nothing. The only slight drawback was we had to park a long way away on the second day but were prepared for that.

Location was good and was handy for the town centre.
The property was small but warm and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, albeit no microwave oven.
A microwave would have been handy, although this is probably restricted by the space available.

TV locked with pin by previous user Mojca. Cannot access other apps because of it

The Nook is a lovely little property in a lovely town, a few minutes walk from the town centre facilities and a delightful river. Perfect for riverbank strolls and walking the dog. Morpeth is an excellent base from which to explore all of the key attractions north, south, east and west and close enough for visits to Durham and Newcastle. For Newcastle take a short drive to Kingston Park and take the Metro. Recommend National Trust membership for some of the places of interest - saves a lot of money. The property itself is quaint, comfortable and well equipped.
Bigger mugs for my cup of tea in the morning please! But that's just a personal preference. Also bigger bath sheet towels for the same reason. Other than that, perfect.

Great location in Morpeth. Very cosy with everything we needed for our 5 day stay. Great communication from Louise prior to arrival and quick response to our questions
Parking is difficult when returning in the evening. Lounge is a little dark.

Had everything we needed for our stay.
Really grateful for the parking permit but parking was difficult. Downstairs was quite dark, we needed lights on during the day.

Clean, comfortable and Louise was very helpful and responded to queries very quickly.
Difficulty in parking. There was a permit for use but initially no space. Bug cars might find it tricky.

Very clean and someone had obviously taken a lot of care to create a nice space for people to stay, nice touches to decor and pictures/ornaments etc. Also kitchen well equipped and even had a little tea coffee and sugar for the weary unprepared traveller! The getting stated info sent was really helpful and avoided having to wade through cooker and microwave manuals (one suggestion to make them even more idiot proof - start my checking the appliance is switched on at the wall - yes really :-) )
Very little. I found the lounge could be a little dark but by keeping the blind open and putting all the lights on it was fine.
