Great little cottage, the only negative was the WiFi was frustrating

Disappointed and will not return.

Good location

As soon as we opened the front door there was a strong stale damp smell which did not go away during our stay. Due to this we spent minimal time in the property. Both beds uncomfortable especially single bed.

Cosy house in great central location

Even though it’s very central, it was quiet. Round the corner from all the shops and restaurants in Morpeth and walking distance to the park and river walks. The house is very cosy and warm with a well fitted kitchen. Good value considering location.

Difficulty finding it on a dark rainy evening, slight musty smell in the house from small areas of damp, whole property could do with a little tlc, eg group of 4 prints on wall not in alignment, some tired ornaments/faux plants, bed seems small (but it was comfortable).

Great little cottage in the heart of Morpeth.

Great location in the heart of Morpeth, and very convenient for shops, restaurants & public transport etc. Comfortable and well furnished. Good kitchen facilities. Good size bedroom.

Stairs may be a little steep for those with mobility issues / small children. Parking nearby but not on site. But, we were very happy with the property and would certainly book it again.

Good stay

Quirky cottage with everything we needed. Good space for two people. Ideally located at the back of Bridge Street.

We arrived late. It was dark and raining; the cottage was difficult to find, even following the directions as it’s tucked round a corner. You need to look for the numbers on the wheelie bins.

Enjoyed 5 Chantry Place

Loved the. Central location,the clean stylish decor and the easy communication with owner.There was a good range of kitchen and cooking equipment not that we used them given the wide range of local restaurants. Have stayed in many rentals in Morpeth and as we have family in the area plan to return to Chantry Place.

The property is very old hence the bed room floor is rather at a slope,not a fault of the owner .The beds were a bit soft for our preference but spotlessly clean. Would recommend a bath mat for use in the shower

Neat, spacious cottage in the centre of town

Super location. Seconds from restaurants, cafes, takeaways, shops, The Chantry... everything really. Airy, spacious layout for 2 people. Downstairs is nicely open plan. No compromises at all really. Liked it and would stay again.

The bed is a double. The room could easily take a king size bed. I'm 6'4", so more sensitive to these things perhaps 😄 However, still slept well. Mattress comfortable 🙂

Very uncomfortable bed and we didn’t like the bad smells in the house so not a place we would book again

Nothing apart from it being in a convenient location for visiting family.

It smelled of cigarette smoke when you entered the property, also there was a nasty smell of drains downstairs. In the bedroom the floor sloped and the bed so soft that my husband rolled down towards the sloping side, so neither of us slept well. The fridge was tiny, it would be ok for a short stay but tricky for a longer visit. There was a few teabags in the cupboard and two coffee capsules but no milk so it was disappointing not to be able to make a cuppa on arrival.

A lovely little home in a fab location

Lovely little house with absolutely everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Very comfortable and cosy and right next to the high street so a great location. Victoria was super helpful and messaged in advance with key location and parking information, we popped to the chip shop to get a parking card for a £1 which was just round the corner. All the kitchen bits were there to rustle up some tea and cleaning bits and bobs which were helpful. TV had Netflix and apps so we could relax in the evening. Some beautiful walks nearby for dog owners. Really spot on and we'll definitely return.

The only thing I'd mention is that it is listed as a pet friendly property. We took our pup, and he loved the house. The floor is wooden with a mop for pawprints. However, it doesn't mention that the stairs are slippery wood with open gaps that aren't very safe for a dog. It's not a negative, just something fellow dog owners would appreciate to know beforehand.

Cosy, clean, comfy and we will definitely be back

Lovely house and had everything you needed for your stay. The bed was possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and the towels were so clean and fluffy. The kitchen had all the utensils, pans and plates and the place was nice and clean. The house is also in a great location for accessing Morpeth it is just a very short walk to the Main Street. The car park is also a very short walk.

I only have one suggestion and it would to maybe carpet the top of the steps of the stairs. They are individual wood gapped steps and they are a bit slippy.

Comfortable, clean and pleasant.

Clean, comfortable, plenty of items for cooking/eating as well as coffee, sugar and tea provided. The fresh pint of milk in the fridge was a nice touch. Cleaning supplies were also available so no need to go out and buy some to either leave after one use or add to our luggage going home. I also received a message early on to state the property was ready early on our first day. I wasn’t able to get there any earlier but would have been appreciative had I been waiting around town.
