We loved the decor, and the beds were really comfortable. We had everything we needed for meals and comfort. The location was perfect to walk into town for a quick shop and coffee! The owner was very accommodating and helpful via WhatsApp and arriving and checking out was exceptionally smooth!
While it would be suitable for a stationary baby or newborn there weren’t amenities suitable for a walking infant, ie stair gates or a place for infant to eat/sleep. We managed fine as we brought bits just incase, but I would kindly advise that the property is more suited for couples or families with older children.

The location was ideal and the cottage was clean, nicely furnished and well looked after. The hosts were really helpful and responsive.
The smaller bedroom was a bit compact (especially as a bigger/taller person).

Location for everything in town is excellent. Great to walk to restaurants and bars from the door. Decent decor, lovely and clean and despite being near the main road really quiet too. TryOlive & Co and The Market Place to eat - plus The Courtyard in Pegswood. All have great food. The owner gave us a late check out for free and a 10% discount which was all very much appreciated! A great place to stay for a few days to get to know a lovely little market town.
The parking is a pain precisely because of its excellent centre of town location but it is doable so don’t be put off!

1. Central location in Morpeth town with car parking badge for guests
1. The rooms are much smaller than what is shown on the photographs. Really the term “wide angle” should be used. Somewhat misleading.
2. Given the high price, would like to see fire logs and welcome basket provided. Often the case for other stays at the price point. Feels a little tight there.
3. The downstairs living room and kitchen lights did not work because the fuse board kept tripping out. Needs looking into given that this is a fire hazard.
