Location perfect for our needs: quiet, excellent access to town centre shops, cafes & restaurants (all within walking distance). Perfect base for touring. Easy parking. Accommodation spotless well-equipped and comfortable.
Small second bedroom. Bunk bed with double-size lower bunk perhaps fine for short stay but might be a bit cramped for any more than two or three nights, especially if all three beds occupied.

Location was perfect, as it was on top of everything. We were able to walk to everywhere, get to restaurants without needing to drive. The wood bruner was a nice touch and God send on the first night, as the boiler was not working. Although the owner was quick to respond especially with the huge time difference, it was a huge inconvenience and spoilt our stay. The owner was lovely and was made aware of the feedback we would give.
Boiler was not working when we arrived and had outdoor temperatures of 4 degrees. This was not fixed until around 9:30am. It did not help that the cleaner informed us that this was apparently the norm. If the property had been cleaned and checked this would have avoided such a situation. Property was not cleaned properly as the carpet was filthy and there were remnants of fatty oil on the hob and the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor. Although the cottage was nicely decorated, these issues took away its appeal for us. It did not help that the cleaner aired her frustrations about the place to us, as all we wanted was a nice place to stay!
