About this house rental
In a quiet haven of peace, isolated but without being so, close to all amenities, this house open to nature and very bright, overlooking the Dordogne valley with a unique view, awaits you to recharge your batteries and enjoy with family or friends good times on the terrace or in the 5MX8M swimming pool.
You will be spoilt for choice among all the activities offered in the region, canoeing, discovery of the vineyards, visit of the Sarlat and other many other sites of the region.
Hiking trails are right near the house.
Bike rentals are available 5 minutes away in the village of Lalinde.
Equestrian activities are also offered in the surrounding area.
You will find documentation on arrival.
The house consists on the first floor of a large living room with fully equipped kitchen opening onto the living room with a double-sided fireplace, surrounded by bay windows overlooking the terraces and nature,
in the extension of this first floor are two large bedrooms with real walk-in showers as well as a toilet adjoining these two bedrooms.
A superb staircase leads you upstairs where there is a cosy mezzanine with a sofa (not convertible) that serves as a reading room or games room.
It will serve you two comfortable bedrooms, as well as a bathroom with bathtub and a separate toilet.
The whole house benefits from air conditioning in all rooms.
Outside, terraces will allow you to relax out of sight, to enjoy good evenings around a barbecue and a starry sky, after having fully enjoyed the secure swimming pool.

Close to the charming village of Lalinde and not far from the city of Bergerac, this modern home is great for visitors who are somewhat familiar with the region and looking for a great base of operations.
The entire area is teeming with the local "marches nocturnes" where market vendors actually prepare and then offer their specialties in a park or similar setting with group seating for all.
Make sure to visit the medieval town of Issigeac and the Chateau Monbazillac which are short drives away.

We enjoyed the house so much, for us this was a great vacation.
The owners are really friendly and helpful. The house pool and garden are well taken care off and most importantly, clean.
I would go back in a heartbeat.
