Our family of four shared this house with friends who were also a family of four. The children ages 10-12 had an excellent time in the beautiful pool. The house was well appointed but be prepared with mosquito repellant as they were unavoidable even in the house. Patrick was an excellent host - always ready to answer our questions and share his knowledge of the area including a great recommendation for dinner at Chez Julien nearby in the town of Paunat. Regular bakery runs to St. Alvere for baguette and croissants each morning is a must! Taking a boat ride along the Dordogne is also a wonderful treat! The week flew by and we can’t wait for our next visit.

Vaste demeure habitée par le propriétaire en dehors des périodes de location, disposant d'une agréable véranda pour déjeuner.
Vaisselle abondante et de qualité. Bibliothèque à disposition.
Nous avons largement profité de la piscine, du billard et de la table de ping pong.

We had a great time. Patrick is the most friendly Frenchman we ever met and we had a great time at his house. The swimming pool and garden were a great place to spend the day. We hope to come back one day.

Très belle et spacieuse demeure hors du temps avec tout le confort et même plus!
Bien située dans un vaste domaine très calme et très bien entretenu avec l'agréable surprise de voir des biches au petit matin!
Merci à Patrick, Le propriétaire, pour son accueil chaleureux. il a été soucieux de notre bien-être et toujours disponible à la moindre demande.
Le Périgord est une très belle région qui mérite qu'on y retourne.
