Our family of four shared this house with friends who were also a family of four. The children ages 10-12 had an excellent time in the beautiful pool. The house was well appointed but be prepared with mosquito repellant as they were unavoidable even in the house. Patrick was an excellent host - always ready to answer our questions and share his knowledge of the area including a great recommendation for dinner at Chez Julien nearby in the town of Paunat. Regular bakery runs to St. Alvere for baguette and croissants each morning is a must! Taking a boat ride along the Dordogne is also a wonderful treat! The week flew by and we can’t wait for our next visit.

We had a great time. Patrick is the most friendly Frenchman we ever met and we had a great time at his house. The swimming pool and garden were a great place to spend the day. We hope to come back one day.

2 weeks wasn't enough.
As a family, we have been to the Dordogne region most summers for the past 10 years and our stay in Pezuls has without doubt been the best we have experienced.
The house is wonderfully spacious and is perfect for family gatherings – which was the purpose of our stay.
The local village, Tremolat, has much to offer and has a good choice of restaurants to choose from – we dined at 3 of them and we enjoyed each of them immensely. Though I would definitely recommend booking tables in advance in the summer season.
Although the options to dine out are plentiful, we equally enjoyed cooking for ourselves at the house – the kitchen amenities are more than accommodating for this.
From the other reviews, it goes without saying that the swimming pool is fantastic, it was pretty much in consistent use from sunrise to sunset during our stay.
We as a family already have our diaries out for a stay again as soon as we can next year – we were all devastated when the holiday was over!
