About this house rental
The house comprises:
First floor:
- Equipped kitchen open to dining room. Extendable table (6 to 14 people). Living room with wood stove.
- 1 bedroom with double bed (180x200), shutter and blackout curtains
- 1 bathroom with bath and shower + double sink unit and washing machine
- 1 separate toilet
- 1 games room
- Covered terrace, access to kitchen and s-à-m.
1st floor:
- 1 bedroom with double bed (160x200)
- 1 bedroom with twin beds (2 times 80x200)
- 1 bedroom with bunk bed (90x200)
- 1 shower room
- 1 large landing with sofa bed and access to the 2nd terrace.
2 car garage and parking for 4 to 6 cars
The exterior:
- 35 ares of land, fully fenced and planted with trees (oaks, truffle trees, ash, firs,...)
- Private swimming pool with terrace of 100m2, depth: 1.50 m with steps. Secured by a certified alarm
- Stone barbecue.
- 2 covered terraces as an extension of the house - Ping-pong table
- Various games for the pool and outdoors
Accessibility:
5 min from the center of Lalinde
22 km from the airport and the centre of Bergerac.

The house is well equipped with good kitchen facilities. The table-tennis table was a nice to have and it was good to have a heated pool in September. There was good communication with the host before and during the stay.The WiFi worked well (we saw previous comments so wanted to confirm that everything was fine).Would definitely stay again!

We stayed for two weeks and appreciated having this house as a base from which to take daily driving trips in the Perigord. The nearby town of Lalinde had all the services we needed, such as bakery, supermarket, gas station, hair salon, post office, cafes and a good restaurant on the main square. The Thursday market was great! We took day trips to Sarlat, Lascaux IV, the Sunday market at Issigeac, Eymet, La Roque-Gageac and many other charming villages. The region is beautiful and varied.
The house itself is spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The beds and bedding are comfortable and the house is quiet and dark at night. The kitchen is well designed, the fridge large, the washing machine and drying racks handy so we could do laundry during our stay. The pool, which we did not use due to the rainy weather, looked beautiful, as did the whole property. Parking is easy. The house would be particularly well suited for a family with young children, as it has a cute little playroom, bunk beds, a spacious gated garden and the pool.
The only negative for us was that the house did not get internet or cell phone reception. We had to drive into Lalinde for that. I think the listing should specify that internet coverage is not reliable, as that might be important for some people. Can that be fixed?
