This beautiful villa is located near the medieval town of Limeuil, 150 meters from the city gate, but in the middle of greenery, on a dead end road. The house has 5 bedrooms, a living/dining room with fireplace, an office with an additional sofa bed (sleeps 12 in total), 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets and a fully equipped kitchen, as well as a laundry room with a large washing machine, a large dryer, etc. On the fenced plot you will find a private swimming pool (8x4 m, unheated and fenced by a secure gate), a large garden with 2 terraces and several seating areas in the sun or shade, WiFi (fiber optic) and on-site parking.
The small provincial town of Le Bugue, with all possible amenities including 3 supermarkets and 4 bakeries, a pharmacy and a medical centre, is an 8 minute drive away.
Automatic check-in (with instructions from the owner) from 6pm on the day of arrival, departure no later than 9am on the day of departure.
Limeuil is a quaint medieval town, 150 steps from the house. Here you will find charming restaurants/terraces/shops and Les Jardins Panoramiques, landscaped gardens with stunning views of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers, which meet precisely here in Limeuil.
Walking down the village (located on a hill), you will reach the small beach on the banks of the Dordogne in 7 minutes. Swimming, swimming, playing, canoeing or kayaking, paddle boarding... everything is possible. An 8-minute drive away is Le Bugue, a slightly larger town with 3 large supermarkets and every imaginable amenity. Many other charming villages (almost all with their own weekly market in high season) can be reached within a 10 to 40 minute drive. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area, for young and old; for those looking for peace and quiet, those interested in prehistory, those who like to visit castles, nature lovers, hikers (the house is located directly on the La Grande Randonnée hiking trail network), those who like to observe wildlife, sports enthusiasts, amusement park enthusiasts, water sports enthusiasts, those who like to linger on the terraces, stroll through the markets, gourmet evenings and those who like to go shopping, or precisely "dolce farniente"... In short, there is a lot to discover!
The house is child and dog friendly. The plot is fully fenced and the pool is equipped with a fence with a secure gate for children.
