La Casa in Paese

Fabulous property. Clean, spacious and beautifully done inside. It’s right on the heart of the old town so the location is great! We’ll be recommending this to friends and family who are visiting next summer!

Leaving :(

Great location close to ferry and train station.

We arrived by train and walked to the street where the accommodation was situated. Booking.com had given us an incorrect address but Omar, the host, was incredibly communicative and helpful before we even arrived, and told us the correct address thankfully! Peschiera was busy... very busy... but the street where we were staying was much quieter, as it was away from the main drag but still within very easy walking distance. We found a lovely bar to have a couple of drinks in before Omar met us, not realising that we would be staying directly above it! I was concerned when Omar said we were on the first floor, as we would have the bar and its seats outside directly below us, but the soundproofing in the apartment was amazing and we weren't disturbed at all. The room itself was lovely. It had everything we needed. Breakfast was served downstairs in the bar form 8am and the staff there were all absolutely lovely. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone. We will definitely be back.

Two key cards instead of one would have been useful, as I quite often stayed out later than my partner, but we managed. Checkout is at 10am, which is a little early, but you can store your luggage in the bar. Those are my only gripes, I can't fault anything else.

Nice, clean and in a great location.

Breakfast could be more varried, portions are very small.
