The Rorbu is located in a picturesque and quiet area of Ballstad. The water and mountain view is beautiful. It is centrally located allowing for relatively easy access to all areas of the Loforten Islands. It is warm and very clean with crisp bedding. The kitchen area, although small, is functional and has most things you need to cook great meals. The washing machine with drying rack, dishwasher with tablets and coffee maker with filters were added bonuses. Global Rental Hub were very helpful and quick to respond to ensure that any issues/problems were sorted in a timely way.
The beds, whilst comfortable, are not big enough for two adults. We slept in the two singles upstairs as a result. We were OK with this, however, this could be a problem for others. The property is small and appears to be much larger in the photos. 6 people would be a tight squeeze and probably would not be comfortable, particularly with only one combined bathroom/toilet located on the downstairs level. Be aware of this if you are considering this property. This is marketed as a glamorous property, however, we felt it did not reach that level overall.

Robur molto accogliente, dotato di tre camere da letto che anche se non spaziose sono comode. Il bagno è molto spazioso e la doccia funzionale. La cucina, non aveva in gran piano per appoggiare ma la lavatrice e il frigo di taglia Xl! Manca il freezer. Sarebbe stato un appartamento da 10 ma alcuni e cose andrebbero riviste. Personale gentilissimo.
La poca privacy dell'appartamento che condivide con due casette attigue il patio esterno che da la possibilità di uscire sul fiordo/porto, in questo modo le persone ci passavano davanti a casa, praticamente fuori dalle grandi finestre. Ci vorrebbe che ogni casetta avesse il suo ingresso singolo alla terrazza esterna. Poi da controllare l'odore forte dello stanzino con la lavatrice.

Great location and environment. The property is located at the very end of the road so it was quiet with minimum traffic
It would have been perfect if they have enough curtains to shield off the hot summer sun. The bedrooms on the upper floor in particular were very hot under the midnight sun.
