Breathless

The best accommodation ever and the view is priceless. Being able to see the aurora right from the house is an incredible bonus. Highly recommended. The kitchen and living room are huge, spacious, and full of light. The place is secluded and quiet, perfect for enjoying silence and relaxation. Bathrooms are fully equipped with both a washing machine and a dryer.

Some suggestions: the kitchen is even better equipped than mine at home, but there’s no microwave. Two mattresses put together can be a bit uncomfortable without a good topper.

Amazing place for family vacation.

Luxorious place for family vacation. Warm, cosy and spacious rørby with comfortable beds. Located in a central place enabling easy exploring of Lofoten islands, but you still have your own quiet place to relax after a busy day.

Some more basic kitchenware would made our stay even more perfect.

Ottimo alloggio, ottima posizione

La casa si presenta come in foto. Salone enorme con vetrate bellissime che affacciano direttamente sul mare. Calda con possibilità di regolare la temperatura. Cucina fornita con il necessario per cucinare e mangiare (stoviglie, posate, pentole ecc), lavanderia con lavatrice e asciugatrice. Molto silenziosa di notte nonostante vicino ci fossero altre unità affittate. Camere comode. La struttura si trova in un'area al di fuori della cittadina di Gravdal, comunque raggiungibile in pochissimi minuti d'auto e servita da una strada sempre pulita nonostante le abbondanti nevicate (pensate che lo spazzaneve è passato alle 22.30 del 31/12). Inoltre a 5 chilometri è presente la cittadina di Leknes che offre diversi supermercati (molto grandi) dove è possibile trovare di tutto, aree di servizio, caffè e anche un ospedale. Fuori dalla casa è stato possibile avvistare comodamente l'aurora boreale e godersi la tranquillità e la bellezza delle Isole Lofoten, infattu ogni punto più interessante è raggiungibile al massimo con un'ora d'auto. Check-in svolto in autonomia con box per le chiavi esterno al portone. Parcheggio gratuito e sempre libero sulla strada di fronte alla casa.

Al nostro arrivo i letti erano da preparare (e non è comodissimo se si arriva in tarda serata...) e abbiamo notato i materassi con diverse macchie (soprattutto uno) e alcuni cuscini ingialliti, il che stona molto con la bellissima casa.

Locatie en grootte van het huis

Het huis was niet schoon gemaakt toen we aankwamen en er was geen contact te krijgen met de eigenaar. Het vieze beddengoed lag er nog van de vorige huurders, prullenbakken waren nog vol en de vieze vaat stond er ook nog. Pas na herhaaldelijk contact met Booking.com kwam er na 5 uur wachten iemand om het huis schoon te maken. Het ergste van dit vond ik dat we geen enkel bericht of excuus van de eigenaar kregen.
