The perfect Lofoten accommodation!

Lilleeid Lodge is the perfect base for a Lofoten adventure! The setting is absolutely beautiful and really peaceful without being too far from amenities. We even saw a moose on the road outside one evening! We had mixed weather during our stay and the lodge was perfect for all of them. The days it was raining and stormy we were so glad to have the sauna to warm up in. On the sunny days we sat out on the terrace looking over the water. It's really well situated for visiting the whole of the Lofoten area, nothing is more than an hour's drive in any direction so it's really central on the islands. We did lots of walks really close to the cabin and some had brilliant views! We hiked up Offersøykammen, Nonstinden, Mannen (great for a midnight sun viewpoint!) and Stornappstinden which is the mountain the cabin looks out to over the water. These were all within 15 mins drive of the lodge! We did a few others further away and a couple of kayaking trips too. It's absolute paradise here!

Special house in a special location

Beautiful and fully furnished house with a amazing view. We appreciate the presence of a sauna inside the house. Lilleeid Lodge is located near Leknes city, but enough far to see Northern Light just out of the door :-).

A perfect location for touring Lofoten, and a beautiful cabin!

The cabin was perfect for us. There were only 2 of us so we used the big double room. Excellent facilities and excellent location for touring Lofoten & also for picking up shopping etc in town - far enough away to feel remote, but near enough (a few kms) for the conveniences of the town and proximity to the airport. The location is lovely, the view spectacular, right on the fjord looking over to the mountains. Nice big picture windows. Good kitchen (except for sink tap - a bit too much pressure!) In / near Leknes is perfect for touring the islands as it is pretty much in the middle, so no really long journeys required, the furthest village south (where the road stops) is about 65 kms, and Svolvaer to the north about 70 kms. There are also some beautiful beaches within 10 kms (apx) - Vik, Haukland and Uttakliev. When travelling south make sure to get to Reine, but stop first to photograph Hamnoy from the start of the bridge (this is THE iconic Lofoten photo!), also stop at Ramberg beach, and take the short detours off the main E10 to Nusfjord then Yttersand. Going north be sure to detour off the E10 to Henningsvaer. See our travel blog for more info - https://exploreourworld.home.blog/blog/

A little hard to find, GPS got us there, but directions in advance would have helped. There is also some building work going on (putting up more cabins), it didn't really bother us, but if you are a light sleeper it might be a bother (it starts around 7.30am).

Amazing! Twijfel niet om hier te verblijven.

Werkelijk een prachtig huis met alles wat je nodig hebt. Fijne keuken met alle voorzieningen , heerlijke sauna, douches, bedden etc. Wij hebben hier een week doorgebracht en als uitvalsbasis op de lofoten een top plek. Alles is aan te rijden. Het uitzicht vanaf de relaxstoel is de topper (hele bovenverdieping ) Alles in één woord geweldig. Tamara is een super host.

Atemberaubende Lage - super Ferienhaus

Das Ferienhaus ist wirklich wunderschön und liegt an einer ruhigen, aber dennoch zentralen Lage – perfekt für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt mit guter Anbindung. Die Einrichtung ist funktional und unaufdringlich, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die außergewöhnliche Aussicht, die einfach atemberaubend ist. Die Gastgeberin war sehr aufmerksam und schickte uns frühzeitig die Check-In Infos, was den Ablauf sehr angenehm machte. Die Betten sind bequem und die Räume sind großzügig und gut eingerichtet, ohne unnötigen Schnickschnack. Es hat alles, was man braucht, um sich sofort wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Insgesamt war es aber ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, und wir können das Ferienhaus definitiv weiterempfehlen!

Ein kleiner Minuspunkt war, dass es relativ lange dauerte, bis das Haus ordentlich aufgeheizt war. Außerdem haben wir in der Küche Salz und Zucker vermisst, was für uns als Selbstversorger ein kleines Ärgernis war.
