Wonderful place to stay! We saw the Northern Lights two nights in a row.

Excellent location and facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the host is very helpful, responsive, and attentive to details throughout the house.

One toilet is insufficient for more than three people.

Excellently located, well set up rorbu-style house with lovely view

Very well set up rorbu-style house with a great view. Great location (provided you have a car): all Lofoten sights, hikes etc within an hour's drive, so rather than staying in multiple places you can stay here and get everywhere. The kitchen is well equipped (oven and microwave as well a hob and fridge, lots of decent saucepans) and there were basics in stock (salt, oil, teabags etc, plus laundry powder). House is right on the water looking across an inlet, so the view is lovely.

On a warm sunny day the upstairs bedrooms could get a bit hot, but I'd definitely take the trade to get warm a sunny day in the Lofotens!

Nice and cozy Rorbur, idel for a group of up to 6 people. Modern and well-maintained and with a fully-equipped kitchen. Lovely views of the lake. Very well located near to the main road.

Only 1 bathroom for a group of 6 required some careful planning to make sure everyone could get a shower. Two would've been definitely better. A charging point for the car would've also been appreciated, now that most of cars you rent are plug-in hybrids or even fully-electric.

Beautiful location, very cozy, extensively equipped kitchen. Very friendly conversation before the trip. Every question is answered immediately. All in all great!!!

Excellent setup. A fully functionally kitchen. Fabulous views. Lovely house. And everything that was needed was available. Ronny was very helpful and responded very quickly.

Superb cabin, perfect for 6

The cabin was superb, very comfortable for 6 people , well equipped and very clean. The location was excellent, very central in the Lofoten islands and close to amenities in Leknes. The view over the water was stunning and having the deck outside was really nice. We really enjoyed our stay!

Overall was great - only thing to say is that the upstairs large bedroom doesn't have a window and thus got quite hot in the mornings (in May).

Great house, great location, and great hosts.

My wife and I had a great time at the Rorbu. The place is beautiful and well equipped with everything you could realistically need to enjoy your stay. The location was basically perfect - around 10 minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries, etc. and within an hour of most points of interest in Lofoten. Check in and check out were both very easy. Gunn and Ronny were friendly and easy to communicate with from booking through checkout.

Honestly zero complaints. We just wish we could have stayed longer.

Cool location, on the water with a beautiful view. Very clean Rorbu and it was really well stocked. great kitchen.

In hindsight booking a place for 7 people with only 1 bathroom wasn't ideal, but that was our fault. Also the hosts forgot to send check in details so we didn’t know the correct Rorbu number or code to get in. The fuse for the boiler went 3 times during the stay which meant we ran out of hot water.

Highly recommended

The cabin is very nicely furnished with huge windows looking directly on to the fjord. Perfectly located for exploring the area around Leknes. Only problem is it is so nice it is very tempting to stay here all day. It has absolutely everything you might need.

Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt, den wir jederzeit wieder buchen würden

Eine sehr gepflegte und saubere Unterkunft mit wunderschöner Aussicht. Die Küche war bestens ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch der Host Ronny – sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer schnell erreichbar

Die Lage an sich war sehr gut, allerdings war es zu Fuß etwas schwierig, da es in der näheren Umgebung keine Gehwege gibt

Nádherné ubytování

Toto ubytování opravdu stálo za to! Strávili jsme zde nádherné svátky. Krásné místo s polární září všude, prostorný a pohodlný dům, prostorná dobře vyhřátá koupelna i sprchový kout, skvělé vybavení kuchyně, krásně vše připraveno a uklizeno, před příjezdem jsme dostali super instrukce a přijeli jsme dle potřeby, stání hned u domu. V domě je klimatizace, takže si ho vytopite i vychladite dle potřeby. Dobrá komunikace s hostitelem. Rádi se sem někdy ještě vrátíme, věřím, že je tu krásně každé roční období.

Za velmi větrných dnů (vítr 20 m/s a více) se dům už mírně chvěl a byly v horní ložnici hlučnější zpětné klapky ventilace. Ale to se stane asi jen výjimečně.

Silencioso y acogedor

Todo perfecto, la cabaña es preciosa y acogedora, con magníficas vistas al mar. La ubicación es perfecta, está a 15 minutos del aeropuerto y en el centro de las Lofoten, lo que facilita recorrerlas con viajes cortos. En la cocina el menaje es muy completo y se agradecen el café, azúcar y otros productos básicos. En el lugar se disfruta de un silencio total, pero con la compañía de algunos vecinos, por si os asusta demasiado aislamiento. No hay contacto con nadie que nos recibiera pero la información que nos enviaron era muy completa para acceder sin problema. Volvería sin duda.

No es culpa del alojamiento, pero para ir hacia el sur hay que pasar un túnel en obras a menos de un kilómetro, cierran la circulación y solo se puede pasar a las horas en punto para ir al sur y a la media para regresar, si llegas tarde te quedas una hora haciendo cola. Si calculas el tiempo bien para llegar a punto no hay problema.

Un rorbu exceptionnel

Waouh!! Peu de logements nous auront laissé un tel souvenir. La vue est grandiose, l'endroit est calme, la cuisine est très bien équipée, le logement est spacieux, décoré avec gout et possede 4 chambres. Les grandes ouvertures de ce rorbu vous permettent de profiter de la vue à chaque moment. Marsouins dans le chenal, aurores boreales, terrasse enneigée, inoubliable !. Petite cerise sur le gateau , des hotes très réactifs et une station de recharge de véhicules éléctriques flambante neuve avec charge rapide à 200m avec paiement par carte de crédit ce qui laisse la possibilité de charger sa voiture tout en prenant le petit déjeuner. La proximité de Leknes et l'emplacement central au lofoten est un autre atout de ce logement.
