Magical and Unforgateble!

What can I say about Astrid and Trond? Their home is pure magic! ✨ It’s not just perfect — it’s beyond perfect. From the very first moment, it felt like stepping into a dream: modern, elegant, cozy, and filled with so much love and attention to detail. They’ve truly thought of everything. The house is beautifully organised and equipped with everything you could ever need — and then some! The thoughtful little touches made it unforgettable: delicious teas and morning drinks, soft robes, handwritten notes, candles, and so many small details that made it feel like a five-star hotel (but with the warmth and soul of a real home). They even prepared a lovely guidebook explaining how everything works — such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay completely effortless. And as if all that wasn’t magical enough… I got to see the Northern Lights dancing right from the garden! It was an absolutely breathtaking moment I’ll never forget. 💫 Staying at Astrid and Trond’s place felt like being home — peaceful, beautiful, and full of heart. They are truly wonderful hosts, and I’d recommend their place to everyone looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and deeply special. 💛

Gorgeous house in a setting location

We absolutely adored staying in this stunning cabin - everything was perfect. The view is to die for, beds are comfortable, spacious bathroom, large kitchen with all amenities, furniture is well arranged and high quality. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, always responded. Very highly recommended!

We loved everything. If there has to be something, I guess it is located a little out of the way and therefor not walking distance to shops, but we knew that when we booked. Just have to be prepared to drive everywhere all the time.

Staying in the house is really fantastic and the house is fully equipped. A high-quality finish has been chosen and that is really nice. Besides the fact that the location and the surroundings are very beautiful, the location is also strategically located for many trips.

Superb

- Good location for aurora hunting - Overall hygiene and cleanliness is good - Close to Leknes airport (15-20mins drive), central location to Reine and Svolaer - Good view and quiet place - Car park next to the accomadation - Clear information provided before arrival (e.g. keybox, address)

- A bit trouble to get to the accomdation during bad weather - Need to make the bed before sleep (bed linen provided) - Both washroom on the ground floor - Hot water supoly for shower is limited, especially large group - Platetopp could be overheat, and need to reset at the switchboard

Cozy cabin with a view

Wow! What a beautiful location! We arrived to the property to find it warm and ready for our stay. While getting settled, the host even sent us an alert to look for the Aurora…which we saw two of our four nights…right from the back porch! The fire was cozy and played into the ambience, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen spacious and the house very clean. We spent many nights around the table playing games and enjoying the home.

The kitchen could use an update on the plates/bowls/cups…but certainly not a deal breaker. We didn’t enjoy having to make up the beds ourselves upon arrival, the basic sheets in a box near the door. The hot water heater was just large enough for 2 (maybe 3) hot showers (which wasn’t a problem for us to space out!), but something to think about with large groups. The largest issue we had was that the host stopped communicating with us the day after check-in. We had an issue with the stove top and had to turn off the stove at the breaker to ensure it didn’t become a safety hazard. It did not end up being a major issue, but it would have been nice had the owner addressed any of the 3 messages sent about it.

JUST PERFECT!

This place is perfect! Everything you need is there. Very modern and spacious. High above the other houses. Perfect view. Always sunny., Hiking trails nearby. Good restaurants as well. Big supermarkets in Leknes very close and also the airport within 15 minutes. I can only recommend this house as the best accommodation I stayed in so far.

There is nothing to complain about. Maybe only one thing. There was no toaster, but we bought one. ;)

Heerlijk huisje met prachtig uitzicht

Prachtig huisje met alle faciliteiten die je nodig hebt, zoals bijvoorbeeld een wasmachine en droger. Mooi uitzicht, mooie korte en lange wandelroutes in de directe omgeving. Een klein restaurantje aan de overzijde van het water op circa 10 minuten lopen.
