great location to to pubs and river walk in Sligo town, metered parking right out front

The location was perfect for exploring Sligo town. We were in town specifically to catch a pub session and we were able to got there and back easily without driving. Parking is in a metered city lot which says it in only for 2 hours, but the host provided instructions that we were able to stay overnight.

Nothing really. Check in is at the tavern, since we checked in on Wednesday the tavern was closed which made us worry, but the host was quick to respond on the day of check in with instructions. It just required coordination with staff to meet us with a key.

Could have been a 10 with hot water.

This rating could have been an easy 10. Good location, nice enough room, good service from the guy at the Harp bar.

The shower was cold. Nothing we tried could deliver hot water. This is unacceptable and miserable. I did make the manager aware at a late hour and didn’t expect a response at midnight, but to this minute we still have not heard a word. The place is far too expensive to have no hot water and such poor service.

A nice room but check-in poorly organised .

An attractive rooom in a great location for exploring Sligo.

We had to wait over an hour past checkin time as the Harp Inn where we were to pick up our key is closed on Tuesdays. There was no hairdryer. Whist the bed itself was comfortable, the doona was hot and heavy… there was no top sheet or lighter blanket in the unit. Free parking was only available from 6.30 pm until 8.30 am.

Happy weekend.

Expected a noisy stay, as so close to the town centre, but couldn't have been any quieter. Loved every minute of my 3 day break. The bed was great. I didn't want to get out of it...

Could have done with an oven and hob, but great pub food next door.

Nice place, nice staff, could use some modernising.

Pros = Staff were lovely. Apartment is a nice size. It was quite clean. Location is really nice. Parking very closeby. Bed was quite comfortable. Wi-Fi was decent strength. Staff put in an extra bed to cater for my toddler staying there with me. Cons = Shower drain could use a declogging. Shower itself needs a service, temperature dial was stuck in one position. Heated towel rack needs bleeding as only the bottom heated up. Apartment could use a small 2 ring hob and some pots etc. Biggest cons = Bed is far too close to the door (right beside it) Motion sensor light outside door comes on for slightest movement and shines brightly in through the glass pane on the door. Overall would definitely consider staying there again if back in Sligo.

Apartment was in a handy location. Parking was available nearby at a reasonable cost. The apartment was generous in size but poorly supplied with the necessities (soap, kitchen items etc). Overall the apartment was adequate.

We had difficulty in communication with the host prior to arrival. No useful information provided about parking despite several requests. Only received directions to parking location after arrival and handover of keys.

Big room, large ensuite, kitchenette, good location and quite.

We were requested to call before arrival and arranged to meet at 430pm for the key. After waiting 15 minutes in the wind and rain, we called and were told "she" would be there in a few minutes, 10 minutes later "she" finally arrived. Apartment had not been cleaned, but towels were in place as well as toliet paper. Floors were dirty, tv remote didn't work, not a battery problem. Large ensuite but no shelving to put anything. Most annoying was the light in the entryway, motion sensor and very bright white light that stayed on most of the night and kept the room well lit via glass in the separating door.

No wifi so we couldn’t watch Netflix or anything like that. Absolutely ridiculous in this day and age. I phoned down to the bar and the lady told me she would send a member of staff to fix it. No sign of anyone at all. I should have asked for some of my money back

The cost… €200 for one night for a solo traveller was extortionate. No WiFi. Television reception was poor, lots of interference, especially trying to watch the rugby between Ireland & SA-made it difficult.

Spacious and above harp tavern which served good food

Had a hard time figuring out the hot shower. We have to google to find out how to fix the timer/thermostat. Ended up having the shower at 11pm. Would be helpful if instructions were provided on the onset. The wifi also was not working the following day.
