Definitely worth it!

We especially liked the size of the house, the garden, that we got to use a big living room and kitchen and even washing machine and dryer! Everything was provided: starting from detergent all the way to bread, milk, tea, coffee, cereal, butter etc. :)

Perfect location to walk to Parkrun, the Hospital and Town

Really good email instructions received in good time before we arrived , and really good written instructions in the property too. Chris and Collette are great hosts and thought of everything . We will definitely be staying with them again :)

Spacious and well-equipped house in quite neighborhood in Sligo

Well equipped house (washing powder, kitchen) in a nice and quiet location directly in Sligo. Back garden with a bench.

House was quite cold, so we had to turn on the heating. Water pressure in both showers very low, especially, when washing hair. But probably this way in any other place than common hotels in Ireland.

Doorly wonderful setting near the river and a short walk to city.

Great location with easy access to city center. Good kitchen supplies and food stuffs. Prompt response (via Whatsapp) from our hosts. Great three bedrooms, one a bit small.

More opinions from hosts about city and surroundings would be good, but they provided resources in the unit that were very good - guess I prefer verbal communications - maybe even face to face!

Loved it

The house was very centric and well located, I love the house manual with all the touristic attractions and pints of interest. The garden was lovely and its in a quiet neighbourhood. If you walk down the street you will find a pier, with beautiful views to the forest and mountain. Amenities of the house. You'll have all what you need, also the beds are very comfy. My whole family loved it. 100% recomended

Great accommodation really comfortable, thought put into every need of a guest staying, the nice touches of having breakfast supplies, furnishings are to a high standard and just an all round great experience to stay in Doorly Park

The electric shower downstairs is a bit unpredictable and the water pressure is not great

Would love to return in spring to see more of the great sights Sligo has to offer.

The house was in a quiet area 10minute walk to the centre of Sligo along the river. Great facilities, everything you needed and more if you had small children. The furnishings were practical and very comfortable. The beds were really comfortable! Loved every minute. The website info was excellent and very informative.

The garden looked great but it was December and didn't get chance to enjoy it.

A well equipped house with a lot of thought put into what guests might need. This house is well located beside a lovely park and a short walk to town. Would certainly recommend this property

Great stay

Just back from a great stay at Doorly Park for five days over the Christmas and New Year break.The house is spotless and very well appointed. We had plenty of space and all the rooms and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook in when we didn’t want to eat out. We travelled with our three month old baby and Chris and Colette kindly left a cot for us. Communication was great throughout our stay and before check-in.

Beautiful house in immaculate condition. Tea and coffee, bread and milk waiting for us when we arrived - much appreciated as we were tired and hungry after 3 hr drive from Galway. House nice and warm with lots of hot water.

Absolutely loved it!

Nice house in Sligo comfortably situated, walking distance from town centre, beautiful park with a mountain view and river just next to it. Hosts were nice and helpful. Especially liked the kitchen with everything you need to cook yourself delicious dishes. Also hosts provided with some milk, sourdough bread, butter, jam, cereal, tea and coffee! There were also different spices, oil, vinegar etc. Also loved the fireplace in living room. I am planning coming back to Sligo this spring and would LOVE to stay again at Doorly Park 😍

It was difficult to titrate water temperature in shower on the first floor. The second floor shower didn’t have that issue and worked just fine.

Lovely house in convenient location.

Lovely house close to Sligo centre. Its well equipped throughout and the hosts (Chris and Colette) were a pleasure to deal with. All communications were responded to promptly. They also provided basic provisions in the kitchen to get us started with cooking etc. The house is located in a housing development and has been extensively refurbished and extended. It is close to shops and the river walk.

It is difficult to find fault with this accommodation. However, we stayed there during a particularly cold spell of weather and we did find that the living room was a little chilly on account of the opening into the kitchen area. To be fair, it was exceptional cold outside. We have stayed in many self-catering properties in Ireland and this property is relatively expensive.

Lovely stay in Sligo

La casa era amplia y tenía todo lo necesario. Muy bien equipada. Muy buen detalle por parte de los anfitriones dejar todo lo necesario para el desayuno. La guía sobre Sligo era muy completa y nos ayudó a planificar nuestra estancia.

El agua de las duchas sale con muy poca presión. En una de las camas, las lamas de madera del somier estaban sueltas y se cayeron durante la primera noche. Las pusimos en su sitio y notificamos a los anfitriones del incidente cuando dejamos la casa. Sin embargo, no nos han contestado aún. Una nota negativa para una estancia que en el resto de aspectos estuvo muy bien.
