Enjoyed a nice, quiet adventure in the lovely town of Sligo in beautiful Ireland.

The home was centrally located and very easy to walk everywhere. Close to shops, stores, restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Fully functional kitchen with well-appointed kitchen made it easy to cook meals. Even a crock pot/slow cooker and basic spices. Washing machine, clothes dryer and dishwasher all located in the kitchen area. Paraic was a wonderful host. He met us at the house to show us the rooms and basic house amenities. Gave great tips on restaurants and bars. He sent us links to find great local music and paces to see. Beds were very comfortable, and we slept in more than once! The street itself was nice and quiet. Close to bus stops to hop on public transport to the beach or sightseeing. We enjoyed our family holiday and would recommend to anyone that wants to enjoy the charm of this lovely town.

Paraic(the host), was very friendly and helpful. He spent a little of time showing us the property, how everything worked and giving us recommendations for local restaurants and attractions.

It was super nice experience, Paraic was very sweet, he prepared a cake and milk for us and gave us little room tour with good tips for travel. The location was perfect and accommodation was MUCH better than pictures. Literally 10 out of 10!

Excellent property right in the heart of Sligo

This is a gem of a property right in the heart of Sligo, but on a quiet street a stroll away from the pubs, restaurants and shops. Paraic met us at the property and told us all we needed to know about the property and the surrounding area. Excellent sponge cake, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee, a very nice touch. I would definitely recommend this property and I hope to stay here the next time I visit Sligo.

Beautiful house for a 2 day break.( I would rent this for a week no problem)

On arrival we were met with padraic and giving a tour around the house. It's a beautiful decorated and spotless clean house. There was milk coffee suger etc there for us and a lovely homemade sponge cake.it was delicious. We would defo recommend this house as it is walking distance to the city centre.

This house is super stylish and very spacious, and has all the facilities that you could wish for. It is very centrally located and yet it is off the main roads so a good night's sleep is assured. The host is extremely welcoming & helpful and the kitchen is very impressive. Cleanliness is outstanding and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Host left a cake as a welcome. Good coffee machine. Excellent kitchen facilities. House was warm on arrival and well heated throughout our stay. Plenty of hot water.

We were sorry we couldn’t stay longer and enjoy the White Birds townhouse more.

The property was renovated and decorated to a very high standard. The kitchen was equipped with every appliance we could imagine. There was a lovely cake and other food and condiments for our use.The beds were very comfortable and there were more freshly laundered towels than we needed. There wasn’t a speck of dust or the slightest stain anywhere in property. The house is in the centre of the city.

It was just beautiful and we loved it. We had a car with us but we were being bussed to the start of our Saturday hike. Because it’s a townhouse there aren’t private parking spaces but we got to park at the hotel where the mountaineering meet was held. We had parking on the street for the evening and night. It’s pay parking during the day.

Charming townhouse, with a fantastic host!

Our stay at White Birds in Sligo was phenomenal! The townhouse was so charming and comfortable for our family, it came with everything you could need. The host, Paraic was very easy to communicate with, met us to show us the place and shared many recommendations that we enjoyed during our stay. The location of the place is perfect, just one block up from town. The little cake as a welcome gift was such a lovely gesture. Can't recommend this place enough if you are visiting Sligo!

The only thing that is needed are a few hooks or places to hang your towels in the bathroom!

Great location, everything just a walk away...

Great location, clean enough for us, mod cons and amenities in the house were great. Coffee maker, milk frother, dishwasher, wachine machine etc. Even an iron press for your suit! The communication was clear, check in seamless too. All in all very happy.

Hot water seemed to run out pretty quickly so had to have a cold shower which soon woke me up! Carpets needed a deep clean as well, but otherwise it was really clean throughout. The front rooms could also do with some horizontal blinds for more privacy.

Great location but not in a noisy area. Kitchen seemed to be well equipped but our trip was short and we ate out, so didn’t really use it. Paraic was great, gave us top tips for the area and was warm and welcoming.

Pretty spot in a great location

Location was excellent, so central to town and easy access to Sligo County. Plenty of space for us as a group of 5. We didn't cook but kitchen appeared to be well equipped and we loved having a coffee machine. No designated car space but plenty of parking around so no issue. We would stay again. A giant bean bag is now on the children's wish list!

As a group of 5 with 1 bathroom and having to heat the water for showers, was probably the only thing. Not even a complaint, we just needed to try plan
