This place needs a complete renovation

I booked 2 nights for a family (parents and teenage son) and only stayed one night. This place is dump and unconfortable. Not cosy at all. The pictures don’t show the actual state of the property.

Clean house but a bit small for 4

The house is clean, easy to find, kitchen is well equiped and a washing machine is provided

Right at the corner of a busy road so a lot of traffic noise. The house especially the living/dinning area is tiny for 4 people. Because the bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are narrow and steep so we had to leave our luggage downstairs which made it even more cramped.

Cute Spot

The location was nice within Sligo - easy to get to on the way in and close enough to city centre. There was also a very good fish and chip place up the street.

It would have been better to have more complete check-in instructions and up to date info about parking. - apparently there is a switch that turns OFF a number of controls for heat (so it won't run continuously). We were not advised of this; it got cool in the unit in the evening with no heat (but the blankets are VERY good) and the hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sinks did not work late in the evening until JUST before we left in the morning (we cleaned the dishes we dirtied). The shower had hot water but the sinks did not. - the parking nearby is not available during the day (08:30 - -18:30) Friday to Sunday because of the market in that parking lot. While it didn't affect our stay in the unit, the listing showed easy parking in a city lot nearby. We couldn't park in that "easy" place Thursday pm (we would have been towed at 08:30 the next morning too close to our departure) so we had to scramble and find street parking and a "pay and display" meter, all at 19:00 pm upon our arrival. - And ... The latch on the door is such that you MUST HAVE THE KEY IN HAND when you leave the suite, even for a minute, or you won't get back in after the door closes. Lucky me (whew for sure !!) I had the key in hand when I popped out to my vehicle, to retrieve my bags, parked on the street. - I tried calling the listing contact a couple of times to ask questions, without success connecting. Perhaps I should have been more patient and persistent, at 19:00.

This appartement is very near of de center and quiet with a little garden. The rooms are located in first floor. The contact of owner is very easy and peacefull. It is a fairly busy road in front of the house.

Very nice house. Very well equipped Kitchen . Has a small patio which is nice if the weather allows to eat outside.

It is not in the most central and beautiful area. There were no support to hang up the towels in the bathroom.

Location perfect, right near a great restaurant montmarte ,easy to find parking, nice bathroom with great shower, private outdoor back walled space to eat or sit

No toilet upstairs/steep stairs where bedrooms were and my 83 year old mother couldn't use.the bedrooms so slept on the couch.maybe.a.couchbed in sit room would be more accessible. Also loud in night as a corner unit.on a city Street (but must expect.that.)

It seemed like the hosts were quite naive about what guests need.

Bed was very comfortable. Location was convenient.

Slugs in the bathroom. Only 1 bath towel and when more were requested, they arrived well after we needed them. Zero information available about the property (how to use the shower, electricity switches, etc.). While the host responded to phone inquiries, response was vague and we basically had to figure it out ourselves. Parking was extremely limited but no transparency on this or recommendations from host. For the cost, woukd not stay here again.

Location was great, all amenities to make your own meals, and pet friendly is an added bonus.

Heating was on when we arrived which makes the cottage nice and cosy however it turned off after a few hours and we could not figure out how to switch it back on. It would be good to have some instruction on how to turn heating on

The attention to detail and needs of the guests was outstanding. Tea, coffee milk and breakfast marmalade was a nice touch. Lovely fluffy towels and a supply of almost everything we required available. Loved the outdoor space too..

Excellent location, clean and comfortable. Excellent WiFi. Almost everything has been thought about. Questions were dealt with quickly and efficiently by the host. Unsure where the additional toilet was located which is detailed in the property description.

Only niggle was the location of the bathroom being on the ground floor making it difficult for two of our party in their mid-80's to navigate the stairs during the night. This was not stated in the property description. Patio area was not usable.

Loved our cosy corner in Sligo

This was the perfect base for our long weekend in Sligo. It has everything you need, is spotlessly clean and is only a few short mins walk into town. Our dog Yoda loved it! And so did we. Nollaig our host was so thoughtful and even offered us a late check-out so we could visit the Yoya seaweed baths on our last day. Highly recommend!
