Perfect for a family occasion

The house had everything you could want for a family getaway. We loved the pool table, hot tub and cinema room. Lovely and quiet with nice walks for the dog but not too far from town. Everything had been thought of.

We only had one small issue with the hot tub but it was dealt with super fast by the owner and didnt take away from our stay.

So spacious Very comfortable. We were a family of 7 for our daughters 30th. Was a perfect spot for family so much to keep everyone entertained on a rainy weekend Great big kitchen for cooking and eating. Very comfortable .

Fantastic Stay-cation!

Fantastic stay-cation, with plenty of space for our group of 8. Made great use of the pool table and hot tub. The kitchen had a lot of utensils, glasses, plates etc. and surface space to make large meals. Great dining table that we loved to all sit at. The house was warm throughout the stay and it was very peaceful. With great facilities to wash and dry clothes/towels. The sitting/living room had extremally comfortable sofas with nice little tables spread out so there was no lack of space to put drinks and snacks. The host has to be one of the fastest responding and most helpful individuals! Thank you.

We had issues with the theatre room so did not end up using that which was fine as the majority watched things on the TV in the living room and kitchen. Upstairs at the very end of the corridor there was a cupboard on the right, outside of the bedroom with 4x single beds that let out a strong smell of gas/fire lighters which was a bit concerning.

Great for a family get together

Lovely property in a beautiful rural location. Spacious, well equipped, very comfortable beds and dog friendly was a bonus. Pool table was great & the kids enjoyed the cinema room. Very helpful owner who responded very quickly to a couple of hiccups.

Hot tub not up to temperature until 24 hours after arrival. Towel rails not on so towels always damp.

Brilliant!

What a gem! We stayed at East Wing for a few days holiday surrounding our friend’s wedding. We had amazing weather, which was almost a bit disappointing as I’m not sure we had time to fully enjoy the house and all it had to offer! It really is a special property, with so much to do and the most amazing views. The hot tub was luxurious and enjoyed many times! We loved the cinema room had a go at improving our pool skills in the games room. We chose to watch one of the provided DVDs from the vast selection, but we could have also used the leads provided to link to a laptop to the projector to stream whatever we wanted. All the beds were comfortable and most rooms included black out blinds/curtains. Plenty of places to sit in a comfy chair and relax, a favourite spot was the giant window downstairs! The host was quick to respond to questions we had pre and during the visit and was so helpful. Some of our trips out included going to Stonehaven, Dunnottar Castle, Forest Farm (for the best gelato in the world! Milking was at 3.30!) and popped to Kintore for their community street party! We had a brilliant holiday and time at the wedding, and East Wing made our stay all the more special.

Wow Fabulous 5 star House with Amazing Facilities

Amazing house, bigger than it looks, loads of room for 8 of us. Fantastic facilities including hot tub and super cinema room. Pool table and bar room were well utilised as was the downstairs lounge area with huge windows, very relaxing. We came we saw we played we relaxed ..just wow. A short walk to an interesting and photogenic stone circle and a very short 5 minute drive into Inverurie where there are plenty of bars, eateries and coffee shops ..checkout the Foghouse ( it's new) and it's shop..it's great for morning coffee and evening drinks. Absolutely would recommend this house and will hopefully return in the future. A big thanks from all of us..

Beautifully modernised old building. Very peaceful area, just the sound of birds singing. Everything you could ever need was provided for you at the house. I absolutely loved the cinema room! Stunning views from the master bedroom.

There’s not anything that we disliked. If we had to be picky I’d say maybe provide a couple of fans as we got such gorgeous weather the rooms were a bit hot at night

Stay Here, Phenomenal.

Everythin about this property was fantastic, myself and my friends throughly enjoyed our stay. We had limtied interactions with the host, she was however extremely lovely, understanding and welcoming.

Only negative thing I can say about the property is that the Wifi is not very good, but aside from that it is perfect.

Our stay at this stunning Scottish country house was nothing short of magical. The property itself was breathtaking, nestled amidst scenic Scottish landscapes, and the grounds were immaculate. Inside, every detail had been thought of, blending traditional character with modern luxuries. The bedrooms were a dream—tastefully decorated & incredibly comfy beds that made it hard to leave each morning. Beyond the cozy bedrooms, we enjoyed so many amenities. The outdoor hot tub was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring, offering relaxation under the stars. The cinema room was a real treat for movie nights, complete with plush seating and a big screen for an authentic experience. And for fun evenings in, the pool table provided hours of entertainment for our group. Whether you’re enjoying the beautiful surroundings, or making use of the fantastic amenities, this place has it all. A perfect Scottish retreat that combines elegance, comfort, and fun. The host was amazing, really nice person, got back to us straight away with any questions. Places we visited not far from the home - Leith hall - Drum castle - Dunnottar castle (highly recommended) - Stonehaven not far from Dunnottar and we seen dolphins. - Climbed Bennachie (Mither tap) - Wynford animal park - fly fishing at Lochter activity centre - Ballater and Balmoral (prince alberts pyramid worth a visit) Spice of life in Inverurie is up there in my top 5 Indian restaurants.

Lorraine was great too, very attentive and quick response when contacted her about minor issue. Great house with plenty space for everyone. Kids lived games room and cinema room. Hot tub was additional bonus too.

Great location for walks and not far from Inverurie with lots of shops and leisure activities. Very spacious house and main areas toasty warm. Kids loved games and cinema room. Hot tub for adults a lovely bonus. Easy check in and out and friendly owner.

Cinema room and games room need heated as cold. It's a shame as rest of the the house was lovely and warm.

The location was brilliant, the town was only a couple of miles away and great walks on the door step. The pool table was a great addition to the house. The hostess was very Accommodating and was there to answer any questions we had.

The hot tub could have been bigger as there were 8 of us and the beds could have been more comfortable. But over all had a very enjoyable stay
