Convenient location, clean

Issue with hearing in living room - a small electric heater was provided. None of the bedside lights worked in either bedroom. I hate big lights on and enjoy bedtime reading so this was annoying. Staff said they'd sort it but while someone was sent round, the bulbs were never replaced.

Central location

The location of the flat is very central and in a convenient part of town and we used it as a base to explore Fife. We were lucky with free parking nearby and enjoyed strolling along the esplanade and into town. Instructions were sent well ahead of time and accessing the flat was easy. The flat has a super comfy couch and we were able to prepare meals and relax at the end of the day. There is also good Internet and communication with the host was easy as they responded very quickly when we were trying to work things out when we arrived.

The flat felt a bit tired and in need of love. The bathroom door doesn't close and the blinds need gentleness if you want them open. The kitchen goods need to be restocked, there were only two glasses for three of us, not a biggy ! We did have to give plates and pots etc a thorough clean as they were a bit grimy. We often choose self catering and it really helps when there are things like salt and pepper on hand., Again we just went and bought some. The TVs in the bedrooms don't have signal, so you can't use them, but it didn't bother us. Overall though it was good value for money.

It was a great stay, all clean and comfortable. No issues have arisen so far regarding the flat.

The only improvement needed is improving the warning timing for the last instructions, which are given too late—specifically, just on the morning of our checkout.

The place was great as it’s close to multiple restaurants, the beach, convenient store and is 14 mins walk to the train station. The property is as described and shown. The host was very helpful and accommodating as well!

The location is great ! It is located in an old, converted textile factory. Nice quirky entrance The apartment looks and feels brand new. Everything was clean and tidy. Comfy bed, comfy sofa. I would highly recommend

Apartment clean

Double booked for two nights. Host paid for a Premier Inn but I had to pay for breakfasts on both mornings as no self catering facilities. Also break was designed to socialise with family but we ended up not staying with them for most of break.

Decent enough.

I like how close the place was to the Lavender Fields and the beach. The accommodation was clean, and the rooms were enough for at least 4 people to fit in.

I didn't like how they didn't provide information on where to park the car. We had to park in a private parking lot near the Arcadia, unknowingly that we needed to park across the street, where you can pay for overnight parking. There were no lights in the Arcadia during the night, and we had to carry our things as we went up to the accommodation. It would have been easier if there had been an elevator in the building, especially for older people. We stayed for 2 nights and the toilet paper that was provided was only one.

Enjoyable stay in comfortable, but basic family apartment

The flat was clean and functional. The beds were very comfortable. Cooking facilities were also available. Small but definitely adequate for a family of three or four. Good location for the coast, parks and bars and restaurants. Very peaceful. Wi-Fi signal adequate.

Bathroom door had no lock and wouldn't close properly. Despite looking brand new, the place is in need of a refit. Door panels and frames are not aligned and the materials used throughout the property looked very basic. On the whole it looks nice, but also looks like it has been thrown up quickly.

Nice stay

Overall, the apartment was in a good location and generally comfortable, but there are a few things that could use some attention. Some parts of the apartment need minor repairs — for example, the shower handles come off easily and should be replaced. The mattresses were not very comfortable, and in one of the rooms, the radiator control does not work. With a bit of maintenance, this place could be much better. Otherwise, the stay was fine and the host was friendly.

It's a nightmare, life in a concentration camp

Access code to the front door not given. Had to call to get it. The boiler didn't work, flashing E9 all the time. It kept the same despite various attempts through instructions over the phone with the landlord. Four of us had to go to a separate flat (#20) two storey down for shower for the first night. We were instructed that the boiler would restore itself the next day. After proving itself a lie. It was promised that someone would come to fix the boiler on the second day of stay. Nothing happened when we came back in the evening. Call the guys again. One of them said we can use the same flat 20 for shower. However, we found later on that access was denied as it was occupied! It wasted our time and stressed to communicate with the landlord so many times trying to get the basic need of shower. After multiple calls, we were told by another guy of the landlord to use flat 32 on another block instead! We have to get down from the loft, flat 27 we lived, get outside and walked up the slope, enter the door of another block, walked up 3 levels to the loft where flat 32 is. I hope you would agree that the stress and effort of getting a shower had destroyed any joy and pleasure of a holiday. Moreover, the WiFi didn't work and never work at all. The mobile signal was so bad too! How we can keep connected!

The single beds pushed together to form a double though the 2 single beds are different heights so when sleeping during night can tell the difference when laying on beds, over time wound be worth investing in maybe a ottoman double for more storage as limited access to wardrobe with positioning of room

Nice apartment but with faults.

The price was good and we liked the location , being close to the sea , views of the sea out the windows as we had the top apartment. The beds were comfortable and clean and the size of the apartment was spacious albeit with sloping ceilings , not for tall people.

The communication was poor , we didn’t got told which apartment untill a few minutes after check in. No info on how to work things , like which switch for the washing machine , no internet or if there was there was no info. No batteries in remote control , no hairdryer , most common in places we book , dirty shower cubicle and shower drain , one bath towel and some small towels for two people.

Dedicated parking is not available at this property and the information given about street parking availability is misleading unless you are arriving after business hours. There is paid parking available nearby. Apartments look better in the photos. Note there is no hairdryer or shampoo/ shower gel provided. Default communication method with offsite manager is via email.

Apartment clean and very spacious, lovely cotton bedding, well equipped for a longer stay, central location. Excellent communication with Paul.

No keys in key safe, called Paul, arranged another apartment immediately. I wouldn’t have liked to arrive late at night and for this to happen! Blind not working in bedroom.

Die Angaben in der Beschreibung der Wohnung sind etwas falsch. Parken ist nicht umsonst auf öffentlichen Flächen möglich, aber relativ günstig.
