Lovely big apartment with lots of extras like iron and ironing board, washing machine, full cooking equipment etc. The living area is huge but felt empty, perhaps some painting or a cupboard to fill the space would make it feel more homely. Very quiet neighbourhood, minutes from shops etc.

Free parking was a little far but seemed safe. The boiler instructions were a little hard to understand, expecially for us as we arent used to these types of systems. More simpler instructions and signage would help. We couldn't get the shower water above warm. The entrance through the arcade is a bit off putting.

Heating the place was a challenge. The remote control was useless and the boiler kept overheating despite checking the radiators valves. Only managed to turn it on for a couple of hours at the time. Judging from the detailed instructions received prior to checking in, regarding the boiler , this is a known issue. Also , the kitchen tap was broken and there was no handwashing soap in the bathroom. Both not real issues but I had no acknowledgment from the owner after we messaged them, so not great communication. Overall a good stay if you are good at going up the stairs and you know a bit of boiler management.

The price was good and we liked the location , being close to the sea , views of the sea out the windows as we had the top apartment. The beds were comfortable and clean and the size of the apartment was spacious albeit with sloping ceilings , not for tall people.

The communication was poor , we didn’t got told which apartment untill a few minutes after check in. No info on how to work things , like which switch for the washing machine , no internet or if there was there was no info. No batteries in remote control , no hairdryer , most common in places we book , dirty shower cubicle and shower drain , one bath towel and some small towels for two people.
