Beautiful view from chalet. Enjoyed swimming in the lake and jumping in the hot tub. Great location.
A bit dated in the chalet but the location made up for it.

The apartment was lovely. We got the Feshie apartment. One small bedroom was on the ground floor with an en-suite and the other en-suite bedroom was upstairs with the kitchen and dining table, a lovely sitting room with very comfortable sofas. There is breakfast available in the restaurant near the Loch. There is also water sports available.

The chalet was clean and cosy. The ambience was delightful. The cabins are remote, which is good,the lake offers good views. There are lots of activities around the lake. It is near a lot of activity centers. Towels are offered. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils and cutlery with a dishwasher. Heaters warm the place quickly. Backyards offer nice views, you can have meals if weather permits. The staff is courteous and polite, no fuss.
The cabins are remote, so some amount of preplanning for food and toiletries is required. We missed bringing some, so we had to go to Aviemore to get those.
The way to the chalets on the upper side of the hill are not marked. That caused some confusion initially for us, especially because we were quite late to reach the property. But the person on the other side was able to help us. We would have found it eventually. But it would be great if there are some additional signs on the outside road that goes from the outdoor center to the upper chalets. But these are minor niggles. Overall the experience was fantastic

We have been to loch insh the past 5 years and love the area and lake. We like how close the accommodation is to the lake and there is easy access to the park for children.
The chalet is now feeling dated with no changes or fixtures the curtains are tattered with holes the dishwasher was broken on arrival but fixed after I called manager.
Internet was out the whole stay and doggers were digging up the road the whole stay from 8am so it did effect the holiday.also the restaurant closed a couple of hours early with no notification to users which was disappointing
