Quiet and comfortable stay in the highlands.

Lovely and clean, comfy beds & very close to centre of Aviemore. Would be an amazing space if skiing/snowboarding or cycling or hiking - with the boot warmers & sauna too

The only thing was no grass for the dog, but lots of access to walks around about the house

Fantastic stay in great house

Very clean, great location, well equipped kitchen and really comfy beds. The digital welcome pack is a great idea. Made check in and everything really easy and simple

Lovely spacious home, home from home, lots of personal touches, cosy house. Enclosed garden and plenty room to park. Walking distance from shops and restaurants. Lots of walks nearby. A great stay for our family.

Only a few minor things… The number/name of the house could be more prominent to help find the exact property on the street. Took a few minutes to find the key box on arrival. Decking in back garden was a bit slippery when it’s been raining.

very well equipped, clean and in a good location

didn't seem to have a shaving socket which, while not dire was a little surprising and inconvenient. Also, we couldn't find instructions for the sauna - easy to work etc but would have been better if promised guidance was available. Upstairs toilet seat was loose, we hand tightened it which worked for a while. There are three sets of slightly different instructions for recycling rubbish in the house, this could be tidied up. The above were all minor issues, it would be better if they were sorted, but they didn't impact on our enjoyment of the property.

Superb

There was many things to like, well thought out and comfortable it was also very nice to receive a bottle of wine and some tasty treats on arrival. we will definitely be thinking about coming back

Bath plug wasn’t working, couldn’t bath kids and due to there autism showers cause meltdown. The back gate was difficult to access due to the lock and the clothes horse wasn’t very good to dry clothes

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house is lovely and very well situated. Definitely recommend.

The house is well equipped. Didn't expect to be provided with all the basics including tea & coffee. Very much appreciated. Rooms were well set out, plenty of space and plenty dishes, glasses, mugs, etc provided. Didn't do a lot of cooking but there were plenty of pans, trays & utensils.

The door hinges are rather creaky. Made getting up during the night a bit uncomfortable in case others were woken by the noise. Floorboards a bit creaky too, but that can't be helped.

A great place to stay in Aviemore!

We stayed in burnside pines for our group ski trip, the facilities and location were great! We were able to contact the owner easily when needed. Really good value for money, will definitely come back!

Fantastic immaculate property in a super location!

Absolutely brilliant wee property! Location was spot on for what we needed - Highland Wildlife Park and Landmark both just minutes away, and plenty to see in Aviemore plus supermarkets to pick up supplies. The house itself was easy to find and access keys, with a handy parking space right at the door. The inside was lovely, with spacious bedrooms and comfy beds. The kitchen dining area was fab, with everything you could possibly need. The utility room with washer and dryer was great - we all got soaked one really wet day so having somewhere to dry jackets and shoes was a massive plus - imagine it would be really handy in winter if you were hiking or skiing. The whole place was spotlessly clean as well. Our boys loved the treats left for us, they claimed the shortbread and tablet whilst the grown ups loved the coffee! We will definitely look to stay here again next time we are in the area.

The only thing that would have added to our stay would have been a stair gate at the top of the stairs - the bedroom with single beds upstairs opens out at the top of the stairs and staying with small children it would have meant we worried less about them coming out of the room at night and turning down the stairs. I appreciate this won’t be a concern for everyone though and is more of a “nice to have” than a necessity.

Very personal and enjoyable homely

it was made a very personal experience experience. We celebrated my mums 70th Birthday and they left a card and as it was over Easter they left two chocolate eggs for the kids which they were delighted. It was made to feel so homely we all loved it

We were delighted about every detail…the torch in one drawer the pen in the other and the vital bottle opener in another…. my only feedback would be the bins were too full to empty onto but it was Easter bank holiday with limited service
