Clean Lodge and great bedrooms and bathroom facilities
The lodge we had last year had an oven, which you would expect to be available in a self catering lodge. Therefore we brought food for a family of 6 which went to waste due to being unable to be cooked. When I made contact to ask about the facilities I was told the microwave had an oven facility to which I responded to say our lodge only had a basic microwave. I received no further communication regarding this which was very disappointing even though I chased for a reaponse. No black pudding or white pudding for breakfast as per last year and coffee was always cold. Definitely not as good as our visit 12 months ago.

The size of the lodge, the facilities. The resort is really close to the train station and the main street of Aviemore. Indoor swimming pool and soft play are great bonuses for children.
The kitchen of the lodge is rather small compared to the size of the lodge.

The location was excellent, and the staff lovely. The Lodge itself was clean and the beds very comfy.
We chose to stay at the lodge because of the hotel facilities on offer - however, they were very dissapointing - the pool in particular was extremely tired, rusty looking and the changing rooms dirty - a very unpleasant experience. The soft play has the most expensive vending machines for guests - £2.50 for a coke! Again, tired and dirty looking.
