I stayed for 5 nights. I was moved to the Highland hotel. I was kindly given breakfast each morning which made the value for money great. The nove worked out much better as it was attached to the pool facilities. The pool, sauna etc was welcomed after long days walking and exploring.
The room was nice and a good size. It was also very quiet. Hotel was in a great location.
Staff were friendly and my experience was positive.

4 star hotel trying to attain 2 star status.
Lift broken on day off arrival with no sign of any work being done over next few days to repair
Stair carpet not tacked down properly and coming away from the stairs in places.
Hand rail varnish all worn
Leaking sink that ended up with water on floor that was reported and not repaired
Shower side panel not secure
Sign for room to be serviced placed on door for fresh towels etc. Room never got serviced prior to leaving so had same towels for 4 days which had been used to mop up wet floor too
Window was a struggle to close properly to stop cold draught
50 year old building that is in dire need of some TLC. Can also see similar across the resort with it's older buildings that they took over

Such a nice hotel and facilities were all to hand. Conveniently situated for shops, bars and supermarket. I will definitely be staying again when back in the area.

Booked The Morlich Hotel and arrived to find we were allocated another hotel. They were taking bookings for a hotel described as being ideal for a couples romantic break and allocating accommodation in a busy noisy family hotel. The hotel booked was officially closed when we booked but they were still accepting bookings when we were in resort a week later. This feels naughty and disappointing. Buying one thing and being delivered another.
