Not that easy to get to by public transport as buses infrequent and a longish walk to bus stop. Board game selection could do with updating (being very nit-picky here!).

It was a bit further from the other properties in the area. Very slightly secluded which was good because I was staying with friends, and noise wasn’t an issue. The amount of space was amazing and the quality of each room was excellent. It was one of the best places I stayed in and looking online this was the clear #1 choice.

Really nice house but needs some parts freshened up.

Great location and very chilled atmosphere. Plenty toilets, beautiful house with lots of space. We are holiday home owners ourselves we know comfy beds and wooden floor throughout would make this stunning.

The mattresses were very uncomfortable in all the rooms. We had 9 in our group and everyone complained about how uncomfortable the beds were. Could have done with fresher duvets and pillows. The fabric sofa, when it is dogs friendly, needs to be leather that can be wiped down. Bit of a musty smell from the one in kitchen.

A beautiful and spacious home

Carn Mhor Lodge is a beautiful and spacious home, perfect for our stay with family. The location set back from the other houses provided a sense of privacy and only a short drive into Aviemore. With multiple bedrooms and living spaces, we were able to maximise the use of the property, and enjoy it to its full potential. It was clean with all expected facilities and features. Overall, a brilliant lodge, would definitely recommend and would book again.

Spacious yet cosy

Loved how spacious the lodge was. The fact that there were 2 bathrooms, an end suite and a WC really helped a big family like ours. Loved the huge kitchen/dining area and 2 living rooms.

Great house and location

The house was great - really spacious, close to lots of amenities and attentions but feels secluded. Great for a family reunion which is what we did.

It would have been good to have longer in the house for the price paid (earlier check in / later check out)

Fantastic sunshine break!

The house is stunning, we were a group of 6 and 2 dogs, plenty of space and could definitely sleep more. Perfect location set back from the road, dogs loved the outdoor space as did we! We would rate it 9.5 /10 and the only thing that would make it a 10 when the sun is out is more outdoor furniture. Maybe some loungers and a dining table outside on one of the decks. We absolutely loved the property, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Thanks!

Only minor thing as above, more garden furniture would be great for sunny days (we were very fortunate with the weather)

Nice estate, private driveway, sat back from the rest of the properties in the street, backed onto a forest - perfect for dog walking! Lovely big house, tasteful decor, everything we needed for a few nights away from home!
